I have gotten 0 for the last week playing on 7 different alts, looting chests, doing quests, and killing bosses… Blizzard needs to fix this to keep us in the game!!!

Screw the drop rate - make them stack more than 10 - nay, INFINITE
I have used it mulitple time to create lvl 262 items for my alts. I need this.
I feel like there are a lot of people here who have never farmed for anything before. Its really not that hard to get them. They drop from ore veins, but I wouldn’t expect to see any from any veins but progenium and the rich varieties especially. They also drop from First Flowers, particularly Lush variants. With preparation, they are also fairly reliable drops from treasures, at least as far as wow drop rates are concerned.
These are legendary mats, and they shouldn’t be brainlessly easy to get, in my opinion. If you want to farm them reliably, you need to be after them specifically. You need to unlock Creatian rank 4 from the Cypher Console. Yes, you can do it with lower ranks, but it will result in a hit to your efficiency and reduce the number you can get since you’ll be wasting time traveling to and from Echoes instead of running routes. You need the buff the Echoed Genesii give, it increases the rate at which Prog Ess will drop from veins, flowers, and treasures. It might also work on fishing, but buff or no buff, the droprate on prog ess from fishing is so dismally low that you’ll likely never see one from fishing except maybe unless you’re doing the strange goop grind. Even then I wouldn’t count on it.
The buff lasts 15 minutes, and is lost on death. It helps to be on a druid in guardian spec to prevent being dazed while running through the Endless Sands. Remain in travel form at all times and make sure you have the Shadowlands Gathering enchant on your gloves. If you have aggro on an elite mob, skip veins, go find a flower to pick instead. You don’t want to waste time and die while trying to hit a vein out of travel form when you can go find a treasure or flower that you can pick in travel form. Only mine if you are not in combat. Make sure you refresh your buff from the Echoes Jiro Genesii every fifteen minutes. There are two in the Endless Sands. There is another buff that reduces your aggro range by 4 yards, stacks up to twice, but I personally don’t find it super useful as it slows down your flower picking to get it.
My last few tips are to switch you cov to Venthyr for Door of Shadows so you can easiiy get all the Elusive nodes, and to make sure you are specced into Mass Entangle since it can be cast in travel form and is wildly OP for controlling mobs near a node you are trying to harvest.
There is also a Cypher console talent, Corial, that enables 2poc to mark elusive nodes on your minimap, I recommend that one as well, its very useful.
Prog Ess aren’t difficult to get, as long as you are dedicating your time to finding them. Anything less and you’ll likely find very few, if any. I personally think the system is great, it’s rewarding for the people actively hunting for them, as it should be. Just cratering the value of them for no reason by making them rain into everyones bags when they are already farmable is a bad idea, imo.

it seems that either they buffed the drop, or flying boosted the drop by itself, prices are around 10-20k now, but it still 50k+ for a leggo. lol
If you play a alt, theres a flat 100k investment on a leggo that is going away soon.
Anyone that agrees with the low drop rate is wrong, its was proven that is a dummie dummie thing with korthia crystals, end of history.
Idk if I have had abnormally good rng but I have made 2 legos (4 prog essentia) and sold at least 8 more… Probably more like sold 12 or so tbh. I have made hundreds of thousands off them.
it works if done this way, you get them from " the first flower" gathering as a herber. just a low drop rate still.
