Profitable professions?

what are we looking at here?

i noticed glyphs sell for a high penny but at the same time it seems like one second a glyph is going for 300g, the next its going for 20g. and then later on ill check and its 300g again.

So I don’t think this is inherently profitable so much there is just a lack of sellers and the few are playing bidding war with each other.

gathering professions arent majorly profitable but theyre reliably profitable.

Alchemy is usually a safe bet for profitability.

Even if you just use the trasmuse CD.

Glyphs are now learn and done, so I suspect part of the high price is due to that. I purchased everyone I could get when they were super cheap and kept in bank to learn once pre-patch dropped to save me a bunch of money.

One character is a gatherer.

You main is the professions you need professional buffs from.

Archaeology is most profitable. No investment. Just dig and sell or vendor.

i have been herbalist since molten core patch and i have earned over 100g

They can all be profitable, but inscriptions is going to be a very good money maker because of darkmoon cards. Making glyphs isn’t substainable and probably not worth the materials to make them.
