I plan to play MoP but not much of cata. I got my character to 85 and I want my professions leveled up and ready for MoP. I can’t find the skill leveled needed to learn MoP professions. I was trying to remember and I thought it was 500. Does anyone have an answer on this?
Every profession can level exclusively through Pandaria. Gathering professions get “shards” of items that can be combined into one of that actual item (so 10 ghost iron ore fragments makes 1 ghost iron ore, etc.) and crafts learn a recipe that uses Pandaria materials to make a trash item that’s just for the skill up
Thanks. I was trying to avoid that route. I remember the amount of ghost iron needed was a considerable amount.
If you’d rather go the old fashioned route then it does appear that the earliest actual recipes are at level 500

I believe only BS can level 1-600 with ghost iron ore and inscription can make tome of mind from 75 -540. I think the other crafting specs have to level as they do now.
I could’ve sworn everyone could, it was just blacksmithing that could go all the way to 600 with it, but I’m probably remembering wrong
I do know for sure every gathering professions can level 1-600 in Pandaria though, at least
I’m just going off a scottejaye vid on youtube to be fair. I was hoping for a quick way to level all profs
herb and mine can be done in mop as you mentioned maybe skinning also
