As far as I can tell, every single proc in the game currently causes the sound file to be SPAMMED IN YOUR EARS on repeat, multiple times per second, for as long as the proc buff lasts. This is especially heinous for rogues and mages, as far as I can tell, but I’m sure other classes are finding it nightmarish as well.
Please fix this ASAP, it’s infuriating and I don’t want to have to play with sound effects disabled
Sorry you are going through this too… a lil happy I’m not going insane and it’s happening to others… it’s so awful to play classes that are getting harassed by this sound

It’s happening quite often for Frost DKs too, to the point its unplayable. Needs to be fixed.

I haven’t heard anything on usual, but I’ve only been playing Monk so it may not affect them
it’s not an addon i disabled them all when this started to see if that was the issue and it still happened… I renamed my WTF folder to .old so it would make a new one… it is not that either just to get ahead of other basic “could be” scenarios… what would be helpful AF is a blue response at least letting us know they know… it really does render the game unplayable… I have a 20s godawful sound telling me to use my arcane missile and it just sucks the joy out of the game atm
you aren’t going insane, its a known issue, it is also happening on the beta (and has been ever since the proc effects got added), it is a bug on their side and not ours.

try this and see if it works, it should disable the sound UI_PowerAura_Generic which is what i think all of these are using
