"Processing... Your character transfer is being processed"

I tried to transfer my priest from mal’ganis to illidan (US)… Payment has gone through, but the character is stuck transferring. I cannot log in, and nothing is happening… What can I do?

Give it time its not always instantaneous more then 24hrs put in a ticket.

problem is i may have something hit my mailbox after i started the transfer. I cancelled all my auctions and got everything from my mailbox, but i couldn’t cancel the stuff that was already sold. I didn’t think it was much of an issue at first… But it should only take “a few minutes”

Theres the elephant in the room mail the transfere shouldnt have been able to go thru with mail incoming theres a way to fix it but im not sure what self help option it is.

I don’t know if that’s going to help, in this situation-- if the mail were sent from an alt, sure. But it’s system mail from the auction house, so then I’m not so sure. :confused:

OP, you can use the self-service mail retrieval on that character via the Support link at the top of the page and see if it helps:

In-Game Issues > Items and Mail > Retrieval tool

If not, you’re going to have to reach out via Payments > Purchase Failure to get in touch with a game master so they can cancel and refund the transfer so you can retrieve the mail and transfer again.

yeah, i submitted a purchase failure ticket already, since either it’ll be fixed by the time they get to it (36 hours yikes) or i’ll ACTUALLY 100% need help. I didn’t know about the mail retrieval however, i’ll try that, thanks!

That is probably the hangup. Mail will block a transfer and it will take a bit of GM intervention - so it is good you got a ticket in.

I have a similar issue and have a ticket in the queue for over 24 hours. Mail was accidentally sent to a character in process of server transfer.

If the mail was sent from a character of your own, you can use the self-service retrieval via the Support link at the top of the page:

In-Game Issues > Items and Mail > Retrieval tool

You’ll want to keep an eye on the transfer after that, it may take a little bit of time for the system to recover.

If it doesn’t make any progress within a couple hours, then you’ll have to wait on that ticket for a GM to cancel and refund the service so you can try again later.

So i looked for that and don’t see the Retrieval tool. Clicking on Items and Mail just brings up a list of FAQS. Where is it?

EDIT - So I found it by clicking on the top option for Mail Recovery. Sadly, I think I mailed gold from 2 different characters. This system is only going to let me recover one of those mail, which could still leave this transfer broken. The open ticket says average wait time of over 7 days.
