That’s because the api for the detection version in the wow interface utilizes frequency allowing the determined flight path to be traced when the user logs in according to its behavior method.
This post is all either personal preference to a visual or just incorrect. Either rage bait or cringe, you choose.
Didn’t need to read past the first line to tell you this isn’t classic. If you want classic play classic. We don’t want a 15 year old game here.
Dunno, gear upgrades are actually a good way to retain the casual playerbase I think. If you just let “gear be gear” I would have nothing to do way earlier, or be forced into content I couldn’t care to do in order to get upgrades. Doesn’t seem very fun (even though yes it’s an obvious timegate-y thing to keep ppl subscribed)
Then again back then the game was easier over all with a higher skill floor and lower skill ceiling. They seemed so concerned that casuals weren’t seeing certain raids that they had to add all these difficultly levels and tier tracks of gear… even though that, before Delves came in, the game was still so poor to casuals anyway. And I didn’t care if I didn’t get to see some epic end of the world boss because the lvling and rest of the game had more love thrown into it rather than just the end/final note.
This point, at least, is entirely incorrect. Every single boss has a set loot table with specific pieces that have specific secondaries. Absolutely nothing is randomly generated outside tertiaries (which have zero impact on performance) or sockets (which can be added after the fact).
These are more quality of life things such as flight paths that were super time consuming in classic. To me the ones now resemble shadowlands ones which is a huge negative. Dragonflight and legion had them right. Auction house, your options were main cities or goblin ones that no one sold on.
- Upgrading gear means you can turn what should’ve stayed a lower ilvl normal piece of loot, into a higher ilvl. Giving you the chance to push your ilvl in a game where you’re constantly invited or not due to your ilvl. If you don’t want to upgrade, then dont? You can loot heroic track gear and never upgrade. You’ll have 619+ ilvl which is plenty for most content.
- There’s no stat rng on content drops. Second boss in dawnbreaker ALWAYS drops a crit/haste ring. I don’t understand. If you’re talking about crafting, there’s ways to make the stats specific. This point doesn’t even make sense.
- Personal loot is a huge fix for people griefing. I’d rather not get a piece of loot then somebody who doesn’t need it, need it because they were upset I wasn’t top dps.
- It’s your PC. I didn’t even know the coreway had a loading screen.
- You just complained about grinding for gear upgrades but a 5 million gold mount isn’t gonna require a grind? Get real
The upgrade system is a awful i shouldn’t have to take out a spreadsheet to see what upgrades to what level and where to get what crest and gear level
That is all just like your opinion man…
