Nah - not really. Not unless a massive shift happened where everyone was stacking one class and it was causing a loss of subs. Even if this impossible situation happened they probably wouldnât at this point.

No, we were using a WA that manually slowed the cast between a fireball and a pyro directly afterwards.
So if you had a hot streak proc the WA would see you casting fireball and see you spamming pyro as fireball was being casted which it would delay.
If you used this work around the munching fix blizzard put in was less than a 50 dps buff.
It saved you literal fractions of seconds!
Not sure what this means, it costed us fractions of seconds would be more accurate.
Since its delaying the pyro that youre casting right after the fireball so they dont land at the same time which would munch the ignite.
I mean the fix saved you fractions of seconds.
The work around cost you them, which had a very minor DPS impact.
Yeah if you used the work around the fix was like sub 50 dps.

But the fact that ret is 5% ahead of warrior and feral is 12% ahead, and gapping even fire mage by a huge margin, is still proof they either 1) had no idea what theyre doing or 2) it was malicious and done because the senior game dev plays one of those classes. They could undo all the buffs and all three classes would still be S tier.

Honestly cant think of one good reason to play a pure DPS class after these fictional arbitrary buffs. Outside of Demo and its OP demonic pact buff, Warlocks/Mages/Hunters/Rogues bring virtually nothing of value to a raid when hybrids are doing more DPS while also bringing significantly more utility and the unique ability to swap specs for whatever any fight demands.
Role homogenization was one of the top responses given by longtime WoW fans to the question âwhat ruined retail?â, and yet Classic doubled down on it. Classic devs have no sense of perspective, they just cave to the buffbirds same as the original devs did.
