Okay dude, that’s an opinion. Also we’ve gone over the cons of the million changes you want for over a year now. Dual spec would fundamentally change the way the game is played. I know you never wanted vanilla wow but go ahead and accept it’s coming, it’s going to be vanilla.
He…he’s trolling right?
reading his replies i just don’t think he has an idea of how big an impact it is.
just like when he says that it won’t have an impact on the economy and wants to see the data.
No he’s just insanel wrong and has no clue what he’s talking about.
Here comes the classic police. You guys need a theme song.
You can’t assess a situation on speculation. I get your concern but you cant pass it off as true until you have some backing.
Ok so in your original verbatim quote you say that not having dual spec makes players have to “waste gold and time farming gold”. So by your own verbatim post, changing this would make it so players don’t have to do these things, meaning it would change how the game is played. People who don’t have as much gold and time will now have the same opportunities as players who do make that commitment. I feel like your own post argues that the change you want inherently changes gameplay.
Or you are an excellent troll. 8/10 if trolling.
i’m not basing it on speculation. i’m basing it on what is obvious to anyone.
Why do you buy dual spec? because it is worth it because it saves you money.
the fact that you can’t accept this just proves why everyone is so dang tired of people who want changes.
Im not a troll despite that you really want me to be. I brought a solid argument that doesn’t have a hard answer yet. My arguement was about poor design that pigeonholed many into a specific role and the fact that dual spec opens up more time to enjoy the game. I got the economy response but again all speculation.
It does have a hard answer. you just don’t want to accept it.
A hard answer is a fact Mat and the fact is that im still waiting on you to give me some data that says that this would do what you say it would. You cant provide that so you keep just saying its obvious when its not, you have no idea. Nobody does.
There is really no point in arguing this. Just because its obvious to you doesn’t mean that its true.
just because you reject it doesn’t mean its not true. just because i don’t have data from an event that never happened doesn’t mean its not true.
at this point i’m done talking to you. you can’t even accept for a fact that people buy something like dual spec because it saves them money even after you said and i quote.
this alone proves that you can’t be reasoned with.
you said it yourself - dual spec is nice because i don’t have to waste gold and time farming gold.
but when i say “people buy dual spec because it saves them money” you say provide me the data.
your argument is laughable. and you just prove why people who want changers can’t be reasoned with.
you -
why do you want dual spec?
“Because i don’t want to have to waste gold and time spent farming gold”
me-
why do people buy dual spec?
“Because it saves them money”.
you
provide the data to prove that’s true.
me
Facepalm
It’s obvius because the game that will release is Classic wow, a classic game of Wow 1.12 version.
Dual spec are in 1.12? No.
So obviusly don’t will are in the game. Ask for Classic WotLK you will be right now.
at this point s/he can’t even be reasoned with. they are literally arguing against there own statement in an effort to prove that it doesn’t effect the economy. how’s that for logic?
These guys are using the “only myself” mentality, they don’t are thinking in the entire game, they are thinking only on herselfs.
Ephemere literally just proved why you can’t have an actual debate with people who want changes.
It doesn’t matter to me if you’re a troll or not, I just can’t tell. That’s why I also responded to your statement with a genuine response. Your own OP specifically states that you want the change (dualspec) because it will change gameplay (don’t have to waste time farming gold) but you keep asking for proof of how it will impact gameplay. You’re asking someone else to prove your statement for you, even though your statement seems to contradict your position to begin with. Care to clarify?
caught in a logic trap. nice.
i know right?
hes also asking us to provide data that proves his change effects the economy when his own statement does it.
since people get Dual Spec because they don’t want to waste gold on respecs, his statement proves that it saves gold. since it saves gold you have more gold to buy other thing with. that is definitely an effect on the economy.
but he asks us to prove his own statement and denies what is plain to everyone.
And what about re-tuning raids and instances? Note I did NOT say class balance. Just re-tuning raids and instances to reflect that of an authentic Vanilla “feel”. Some in between state between 1.0 and 1.12. Strict no changes in 1.12 will be laughably EZ mode and not the Vanilla experience. Theoretically, that would be a “change”.
I’d argue that re-tuning raids and making the warrior tanking changes is almost mandatory to keep that Vanilla experience.
I was progression raiding, but I know doing MC as of 1.1 wasn’t exactly the authentic experience either. That’s just asking Classic to fail.
