Having played beta so far, I’ve yet to see any of these ‘‘primordial’’ trolls. It’s likely that they were scrapped and simply replaced by the djaradin.
I personally think they scrapped them and added Gnolls/more Gnolls than at first planned.
But yeah, it seems they were indeed scrapped unless they’re added in a later patch.

The same reason there is now a chromatic dragon society apparently.
Still no primordial trolls mentioned. I agree with the theory that they were replaced with the Djaradin.

I’m assuming that this comment is in regard to the notion that Primordial trolls are Tarasek. However I received of World of Warcraft: The Dragonflight Codex and I never once saw anything that said that the Tarasek evolved into trolls, and I looked for it.
Just have trolls be evolved drogbars. Boom. done.

While an easy solution, I must admit that I’m bummed that the Primordial trolls were never seen.
Perhaps they could appear in the War Within. After all there is that SS showing Talanji will have some role in the story.

another sub race of trolls this is getting out of hand it was bad enough they added evolution to the game and retconned the elves lore but everytime you turn around they add another troll species
