Priest vs shaman healing in bg's

im looking to duo in BG’s with my warrior friend and i plan on healing him. i
Im wondering what class is the funnest and most useful to heal in BG’s? thanks in advance

Shaman or Priest?

I know I want to main a healer and I’ve narrowed it down to these two. I’ve played both a lot since Wrath (when I started) and I enjoy both equally. Assuming that I’ll roll Horde so both are available and will be wanted. I’d love some advice from the vanilla vets as to which I should I go with?

Priest or Shaman

Im debating whether or not to level a priest or shaman for healing wpvp… Any ideas?

How do Shaman compare to Priest

I’m leaning more and more towards Shaman, but I feel like it’s inferior in every way to priest. I’ll be worse at PvP than a SPriest, and I’ll be worse at healing than a Holy Priest in PvP or PvE. But I just love the utility of the class and the lore. I just never played a priest in vanilla so I have no frame of reference.

Priest is probably a stronger BG healer due to their utility (magic dispel to get rid of poly, etc, mind control). Plus totems are easy to stomp.

Priests and shamans are the two worst pvp healers…

druids and paladins are the best… with paladins being the #1

Priests have the utility with mana burn though

No paladins on Horde though. He’s probably rolling Horde if he’s asking about shaman.
