Im debating whether or not to level a priest or shaman for healing wpvp… Any ideas?

Shammys are cool imo

Spriest and Ele are both beasts and lots of fun to play in PVP. Can’t go wrong with either.

As far as healing… Priests are better for smaller scale pvp (WSG, AB) and Shammies are more suited to large scale pvp where lots of people are clumped (AV, WpVP)

both can achieve the healing you want. seems like youre a shaman already and are comfortable. id roll that way.

wpvp? Shaman absolutely, their setup is great even in deep resto, and while priests are amazing in their own ways, you’d have to go Shadow to really melt people. If you are Disc or Holy, you’ll likely be attached to the hip of a warrior or someone.

It’s difficult as a Shaman to get people off of you. Healers get focused. You don’t have a stun outside of a Racial. Ghost wolf isn’t even an instant cast. You have the means to slow players but a conc shot, crippling poison, hamstring, etc will slow you too.

When players get on you, you’ll wish you had a fear or a HoJ or some instant heals/Hots to keep yourself up or an absorption bubble – Anything to buy you time while your allies try to peel.
