Priest MC bug

My pres evoker friend keeps being unable to use his character after he gets mind controlled by a priest in arenas. Almost 30% of the time MC lands, he can’t play afterwards.

As you can imagine, was as we our making our Gladiator push, you can see how maddening this would be. As we fight tooth and nail for rating, losing rating to something like this is absurd.

Is anyone else dealing with this? Have you found a way to fix it?

I put it in the big report forums, but I’m not optimistic that Blizzard is going to fix it in time for us to get our Glad title.

it definitely seems to happen to evokers more often than other classes. i assume it has something to do with jumping while hovering.

recommend disabling addons one at a time against priest until it happens at a low enough frequency

He’s tried taking his hands off the keyboard when he gets MCed, but no dice. We’ll try the add-on thing, but this doesn’t seem like an add-on issue.

This bug is posted in here like daily, it effects everybody even the casting priest sometimes and it has existed way too long for a game as serious as WoW

It constantly turns the health bars red not class colored too. The bug really stinks and detracts some of my friends from wanting to play wow.

THey say “isnt blizz a big company, how is this not fixed?"

Tell him to run into enemy players and get cced. Getting cced seems to remove the bug of not being able to use abilities.

Good. It should stay like that until Pres evoker gets gutted. I just love it when I mc bug pres evokers on my priest. Will continue abusing it

100% was qing with a pres and kept fighting the same priest team that would keep going for MCs on the pres and it happened 2 out of the 3 games we fought them.

does he use bartender? it happens to me i just assumed it was cos of an addon

You all worry too much. They will fix it when they get a chance.

I really doubt this is on Blizzard’s end. Blizzard means quality :trade_mark: Try disabling your addons, running an anti-virus scan, and resetting your router.

good to know, CC overwrite the glitch. but thats probably another good way to lose an arena match. dueue to a bug/way to deal with it. it just throws people off so much when they get bugged out like that. Hopefully they get on it and fix it, its been months like this. :frowning:

I understand this has been a core priest ability for years but at this point, remove it from the game until it is fixed.

If something is broken and actively causing issues, it should not be in the game.

It has been said by some that it’s a highly complex problem and is hard to fix. Fine. But until it is fixed, please remove it.
