Maul and Raze don’t build rage either way
I’m saying the talent Raze should do more dmg, even ST, than maul.
Yes I know, you’re missing the entire point. Rage builders buff rage spenders.
So Raze buffing Maul and vice versa works against the build and spend foundation of Rage.
And if you’re using Raze, you’re not using Maul, so the buff would be wasted.
That’s not how AoE abilities work. Outside of ST, even on simply 2 targets, Razes damage dwarfs Mauls

I’m saying Raze still replaces Maul. Just makes it so Maul ST isn’t BETTER than Raze ST vs changing it to keep both abilities.
If they change it to keep both, I assume all Maul buffing procs/talents will continue to buff Raze as well.
Obviously. It doesn’t make sense to keep both and have and AoE do more ST damage than the ST ability.

I haven’t looked at the proposed talent tree. Does this let us take GG with UFR?
Potentially. We’ll have to see where its new path is (im guessing where SotF is) . But the better news is its now in the second teir. That means can spend 1 more talent point on something else in the 3rd teir.

The Innate Resolve buff is pretty disgustingly good, I’ll say that much.
At 40% health, Innate resolve gives ~100% increased healing to Frenzied Regen, which means you’ll go from 40% health to 104% health over the course of a single auto-regen (in PvE, anyway – and this is before considering any versatility that you might have).
Paired with the much more accessible Dream of Cenarius, guardians’ll be in a better spot defense and support-wise compared to before… though aren’t they still lacking quite a bit in single target damage?
This is a good start, if they rethink the class tree it will be a huge win for all 4 specs.
There was also a datamined spell change to lunar beam that gives it 15% additional health while standing inside it, not amazing but it is an actual change to the doa spell. Shifting bear back towards that big health tank playstyle.
