Press F for enhancement shaman

With the arena weapon change are enhancement shaman going to be stuck with a dungeon blue offhand until they get rod off KT?

Real gangsters equip a fish in their offhand

Yeah, it’s quite ridiculous. But the development team probably doesn’t know anything about enhancement shamans. Hence they’re making stupid changes like this.

Stormherald is pretty good for enhance pvp

More so about the 1hers which are one of the few gearing options for pve enh

Yeah I don’t really know much of anything about enhancement shaman, and I’m not planning on playing one. I just feel bad for them.

I remember early on seeing all the excited shaman with big dreams of double dragonmaws early game, and 2 x dragonstrike later. They were so sad when they were told it was going to be MH only.

I remember them saying fine, we’ll make do with S1 weapons.

And now that dream is dead for many of them. Not arguing for or against the arena changes, just seems like enhancement shaman are having a rough time of it so far lol

Couple of classes like that. Rogues use Latros in offhand for a long while. This doesn’t screw the class. Dungeon blues are pretty good in BC.

Things like Latros, Quags Eye, Hourglass, ect. Hold up for a while.

There are plenty of offhand weapons. They’ll be slightly suboptimal, but it’s not such an incredible loss that it’ll completely ruin enhancement.

I do wish they’d revert the change to crafted maces though.

Ugh it seems like every change that is being made is pushing me further from maining enh shammy. I started working on LW/BS and was super hyped. Now debating dropping BS and… shaman

Oops oops oops also…

What are they? I’m pretty sure they’re all more than just a little sub optimal. Fast off hands are a pretty big dps loss for enhance.

Too bad annihilator is still a main hand.

Theres a couple slow epic one handers from Kara, as well as the PVP weapons if you can get them.

The Kara weapons are MH not one hand

Isn’t fury just as screwd?

Not sure. Maybe, maybe not. I suppose it depends on the availability of decent sword/dagger OH’s and how that plays with warrior DPS. I think shaman are a little more constrained in their choices.

Just feel for my shaman bros who’ve been stuck chain healing through classic lol

I believe fury will have access to slightly more weapons since they can use swords

Lol yea I started to think about using my boost on my druid instead. I just want to casual pvp and honestly the best part of casual enhc shaman would have been season 1 and 2.

Now looks like I should go rogue main in pvp cause op…and resto druid alt for pvp cause also OP.

I love enhc but when you can’t get certain items due to being casual and said items needs a high rank…welll RIP enhc pvp casuals

Dragonstrike is WORLDS better…and even Dragonmaw is worlds better (as it will probably be obtainable in phase 1). Also Planar Edge line of axes are also better. Even the Bladefist drop in heroics is really solid.

If clothies need to be tailors to craft their preraid BiS/T4 BiS, idk why its the end of the world when Shamans have to craft like Rets and Warriors do.

It’s clear the PvP changes are horrible for TBC, but enhancement shamans at least have a pile of options that vastly overwhelm the options that other classes have. There’s no reality where “its this or a blue weapon” fantasy that doesn’t exist.

I think the issue is that those are MH only, at least during early phases. Mainly talking about the lack of good OH’s.
