On Twitter about staying on Azeroth and the Future expansion Mile Ybara president of Blizzard responded with a resounding clear statement.

" No Pirates"

Guess we’re going to space to fight in the light and void war… so disappointing.

We’re never getting playable ogres

Another thing which seems weird to me is that people want an expansion around pirates but expect zones… pirates’ whole thing is that they attack and rob ships at sea. An expansion about pirates should be basically all boats. The pirates we got in BFA were mainly docked.

I enjoy the notion that there are apparently exactly two things the next expansion can be, because… some NPC banter and some store items, I guess?

Ehh in sea of thieves there’s plenty of Forts and just genuine island exploration going on.

I was hoping Pirates in hoping we’d find some ogres that found and island and have been living there so we could get playable ogres.

Tbh with ogres being the big bad villains on exile reach, i think blizzard will never make them playable

there are ogres in the horde tho, so you might get that wish one day.

not to mention there is half ogres that might encourage it more often

I just want an updated Silvermoon like, picture the Ruby Life Pools but with blood elves.
