Huh the moose was an AOTC mount and I don’t remember getting a griffin for anything except the store.

I really hope the items dropped from the event are at least recolors. I’ll be kind of disappointed if they’re the same ol’ stuff that’s been in the game for a millennia

might only be place holder for now, but got tharon’ja pants on my monk and they was the same look/color than what he drop from the dungeon. just a different name

No, prepatch is not always going to give you a mount. The current rewards are recolored 7th legion armor and extra small stuff.

Every end of a expansion since MoP we get a Aotc mount. Mop was the wolf, WoD was the Moose, Legion was Arcane Bird and BFA was the Void Dragon. The Bat and the Hippogryph were in pre BFA event.
TBC and Wrath had AOTC mounts. Kinda sorta.
I didn’t played pre TBC and I don’t recall seeing a mount reward in pre wrath event unless I am missing something

TBC had a bear from ZA that was removed when Wrath dropped and Wrath had three mounts you had to get before the next raid tier.
