Bat/Hippogryph BFA pre event was only one so far.

I don’t remember a mount for Legion. Do you mean that moose? That wasn’t a pre-patch mount, it was just a mount that was going away with the expansion, making it more important to get it when the pre-patch hit. We already have that right now: the Long Boi.

The only thing unique is a cinematic for Nathanos’s battle.
Here is where blizzard developers fail. They are having a world boss drop Papa’s Mint Condition Bag a 26 slot bag. I can buy 30 slot bags off of the AH for 200 gold.
How difficult would it have been for the one guy in the room who knew this to speak up and say, “hey, 30 slot bags are cheap, how about if we make this a 36 slot bag in order to get people excited about farming it?”

The link to wowhead shows it went from an old 20 slot bag (back then) to a 26 slot bag. If it was something like 36-40 slots, I’d farm it since I’m a hoarder, but I already have 30 slot bags on every toon (including baby toons).
Had an idiot from Trollbane tell me that 36 slot bags didn’t exist. Then when I said hexweave bags are the best bags for mats to storage ratio he laughed and said " 3 xpaks ago" and logged off. I can make a hexweave bag just from the tailoring daily craft every five days, and the biggest Legion bag was 30, and the biggest BFA bag is a whopping 32 slots, totally worth paying tons of gold for…

BfA was pretty unique for giving you an exclusive mount. Most pre-patch events just give you decent ilvl gear to catch-up and maybe a new unique items. I guess the only thing SL will give you is a unique recolor of the Warfront gear which is not all too exciting.
