Prepatch 60-70

Is it better to wait until prepatch for this?
I just hit 60 and noticed its starting to get a lot more time consuming. I heard there was a 30% nerf to xp that came in Wrath. Could anybody verify this?

Yes. Xp needed to level from 60 to 70 is reduced significantly.

It scales per level bracket. I don’t know the EXACT numbers but from like 60-62 takes 40% less exp. 63-66 takes 35% less exp 66-69 takes like 20% less exp but I believe 69-70 is unchanged. It’s significant, though. Enough to wait if you’ve got other things to do between now and then.

Also it takes like 7 days of being in an inn to get a full bar of rested exp. So remember to park your guy in a city or inn if you’re going to wait.

50% xp buff is active now, and will be through prepatch.

I believe 60-70 XP will be reduced in pre-patch but that could just be 1-60 xp is reduced further.

If you got nothing better to do then might as well still level. Otherwise sit back and wait getting max rested xp to stack with the on going 50% xp bonus.

It’s up to you ideally.

If you have nothing better to do might as well just level now but of you want to work on professions or collecting mats or sometbing you could do that while waiting for pre patch.

I’m not 100% sure on this but along with the XP per level nerf I think Outlands quests also get a bump up in the amount of xp they award.

I would get level 61 so you can cue for av once bg exp drops. Maybe just loggin and do the tower capture and hfp tower flip dailies for some honor, level some professions for your wrath main.

30% less experience, 50% experience buff with joyous journey, 100% mount cost drops from 600g to 50g, flying training starts at level 60 and starts at 150% speed. Flying is still like 1000g but faction discount with Thrallmar applies if you buy it from Thrallmar.

If you don’t decide to wait, at least wait before you buy 100% mount speed.

Only the actual mount is discounted through Thrallmar/Honor Hold rep.

The actual flying training is discounted based on your reputation with Orgrimmar/Stormwind.

Ill take it. Been working on this priest since Classic Vanilla.

So. Close.

Did they do that already?
It was not originally shifted from the tbc reps until a later xpac when it was too irrelevant. Or was that because a 60 was understood to have no rep…hmm.

It’ll come in with pre-patch but you have to go to Thrallmar for Horde and Honor Hold for Alliance.

If you go to Shadowmoon to buy the training or mounts you’ll pay full price.
