Preorder level 70 boosted character not giving renown boosts account wide

Only pertains to people who have not already worked on their Dragonflight renowns.

The enhanced level 70 boosted characters come with all major Dragonflight faction reps at rank 20, and Loamm Niffen at 12. This should trigger the 200% boost of “Word of a Worthy Ally” up to level 20 (10 for Niffen) for all characters on the account, yet it is not activating that buff.

You also can’t buy anything with that renown, or the supplies that the character is given.

My wife is also having the same issue with the rep and not being able to buy tuskarr rep items.

I’m having the same problem. :confused:

Edit: I didn’t get 424 waist or Shoulders.

I am also unable to purchase any of the items from faction vendors that should be unlocked

Same here, but just on my “main” character. My other alts that are below 10 renown are getting the buff, but my main that is 12ish isnt.

Also having the same issue, was told to wait 12-24 hours to let the game catch up.

I was able to complete the rank 19 quests so I know it is at least partially registering. I completed the orientation quests on the boosted character to see if that was the problem, no improvement.

One other thing that I tried was leveling up to reknown 21 for the Tuskarr and it also didn’t work

Same problem, waited 12 hours, no fix yet. Also, I bought a pair of separate level 70 boosts outside of the expac one, and while the gear I’m wearing is ilvl 424, and my health/stats reflect that, my ilvl shows at 397. Not a single piece of gear is less than 424 ilvl, so that’s also a bug.

Same, got a couple different factions above Renown 20 and it doesn’t rectify the issue.

It was really hoping we would get a word on a fix today but no such luck oh well let’s hope it’s in tomorrow’s patch notes. I won’t hold my breath on that but I’ll keep my fingers crossed
