The OP clearly stated it was only 5 people and not 39. It’s unclear if the OP, being the Leader, was supposed to give Assist or Lead. At first, it was just an Assist, then the OP changed their story and said Lead and never clarified which one they’re talking about. The inconsistency of this story continues to unravel.

You are being pragmatic because you are only seeing the “mass report for no reason”.

When the big picture is: “mass report for griefing”.

You are like the guy saying fishing on the middle of an AV match is fine, because blizzard had the brilliant idea of putting a lake on the middle of the map.

He was trying to piss his team, so his teammates used the tools they had at their disposal. It may be technically an abuse of the report system, but this isn’t ethically wrong.

I think the OP is lying and is trying to incite hysteria by playing off of other people’s anger about ranking in AV and against Pre-Mades. Their story makes no sense.

Its not griefing. He is not obliged to pass lead/assist to anyone. And even if it WAS, mass reporting someone for “spamming” to get an automated system response is not how you report someone for griefing.

The fact that you even admit that its an abuse of the system, but still don’t see it as wrong baffles me.

Cut and dry he broke no rules. There’s nothing saying he has to do anything that anyone asks him to do, correct? So why does his reasons matter at all. Seems like you’re just afraid the banhammer is gonna come down.

There are a lot of stuff that someone “can do” inside of the game, but it is considered griefing by Blizzard.

There are 39 players, marks and raid warnings are required for better coordination of the team.

Not giving assist is stupid by itself, not giving it with the intent of hurting the team is griefing.

You are just trying to find a loophole to justify his actions.

Were they demanding him to play in a certain way? To quit the game? They just wanted to be able to mark themselves, it wouldn’t affect his gameplay, but chooses to be a prick, and he admitted his motives here, so yeah, he was griefing and the report was correct.

They demanded leadership/assist. And abused the system when when he didnt comply. That sounds like griefing to me. He is allowed to be a prick, not liking it is not justification for systems abuse. But now we’re just repeating ourselves at each other.

This because he was the “leader” of the instance doesn’t mean he’s going to run it. The reason why you give everyone assist is so people can mark themselves. It’s a d0uchie thing to do to not pass assist to all. It’s something so simple to do premade or not…you didn’t want to give assist out of spite, why? You were going to lead it? Tell everyone what to dap, where to go? When to push or trinket back? No bro…you weren’t. You got mass reported and it got transferred over. And I bet you won the game. Quit QQing
