I just do them casually while waiting for other queues.

Peeps been asking for this overwhelmingly for years
Per bliz it makes premade q times crazy long for one faction and they don’t want to punish players that hard for wanting to play with friends

The arguments made against facing premades isn’t about preventing friend groups from playing with their friends. That’s a strawman. It’s about preventing organized groups from playing against disorganized pugs. This all boils down to cheap competition and faster queue times. I think we can all have a rational discussion about this but the premade defenders here won’t admit that they just want the fastest possible queue while stomping disorganized competition. These people destroy the player base with their toxicity and then give us the surprised Pikachu face when their queue times suffer and players leave the game in droves.

It did though…blitz. But if we ignore blitz for now and only think about random bgs and the complaints about them, then you’d also have to look at the other side of the argument.
The current system favors premades, 100% - I’m not oblivious to this. If you don’t like facing premades, you’re going to complain. You can put that in your reason to cancel for sure but thats only one side if it.
If they shoved premades into their own bracket that never pops, all the premades don’t just start queuing solo…they will leave the game. Not all, but lots. In their reason for canceling they will put that they killed grouping for randoms. People quit and complain either way.
If what OP says is true and it’s “premade after premade” then that’s a good chunk of people. Do they take bad choice a or bad choice b?
Neither, they went with the sensible solution which was to create blitz

Great. Is that anecdotal evidence or? Not sure how that’s relevant either let alone “disproves” anything I’ve said. I’m still here advocating for separation of all group queues 2 or more against all solo players. What I propose wouldn’t even run the risk of 3 man groups facing any solo players.

That’s how the q system works, when you Q with 3-5 you’re considered a premade and can only face another group of at least 3.
You will see 2 crowns in the game 95% of the time. That means there is 2 parties.
1 is the “raid leader” and the other is the leader of the group outside of the bg.
Prove me wrong, go Q some bgs with friends and find out.
Ok so another strawman. Again, the argument is about premades facing other premades–not the solo populace. It’s always the tired “friendship” argument, the “muh queue times” argument, and now it’s the “go play blitz” strawman. Blitz and randoms are separate queues. I’m here with suggestions for fixing random queues. Is this a blitz thread? Are you lost?

You ask for sensible conversations about this but offer opinions that are unrealistic. If only groups of 3,4,5 players are allowed in this, games don’t form. The exact right combination of players always has to be in queue. Have a 5 and a 4 man group in queue? Well guessa have doesn’t pop until another 5 man queues or two 3s
