Premades should fight Premades. Simple as that

Premade bg’s are lame and a waste of my time. Limit group battleground Q to only 2 people.

exhibit a for why I don’t take cow paladin players seriously

Sir have I got the gamemode for you.

8v8 battleground, all maps BUT seething shore, and eots has the rated bg walls.

There are no premades at all, and you can even q up with a single friend if you want to.

Battleground Blitz. Ask Oozo, he’ll tell ya all about it.

i love blitz, the hardest part is finding a dps to q with thats on at the same time as me and not doing arenas lmao. def wouldnt do blitz if it wasnt duo though, random pugs have boogers

I agree, allow teams of 10 or 15 to queue with each other, but have them in a separate queue.

Facing anyone with a pocket healer is so obnoxious.

There are enough pre-made groups to make the queues short enough for them.

Random BGs have the shortest queue time when you queue for them, shuffle and blitz.

Also allow merc mode for brawls.

I’m pretty sure Blitz has a bot problem as well. I haven’t queued for it in ages, but I was playing rdruid and kited 6 players from farm to market in dwg, but they snapped back to farm just before the flag. Rinse and repeat until the match ends.

Matches are short, less people means less damage to heal as well. Prolonged fights are generally pointless unless stalling out a team that has overcommitted with numbers.

It really isn’t a format for people looking for the most kills and damage or healing. Teams that dominate in HKs (by zerging) often lose the match.

It’s definitely a different style of game than RBGs (because of lack of communication) or even random BGs. The potential is there to win matches by playing the objectives better even when your team is getting smooshed.

People looking for more of a team deathmatch style of play won’t like it. A lot of people just want to fight, nothing wrong with that. That can be fun. I’m always playing to win, however, which can lead to high blood pressure. :stuck_out_tongue:

o.o

Where were you?

Don’t be a drama queen. Near impossible? It would likely change queue times very little.

Yea, no.

You’re 100% the type of player who likes to farm people in the GY.

That’s fast. If you queue for multiple things as well, something is going to pop in 2-3 minutes.

Based on what information? You don’t know how many premades are or are not in queue. Your premise isn’t wrong, but you don’t have the data, so how would you know?

The premade sympathizer above is saying they already do this, so what do you say to this?

Ah yes, such a great argument. PLAY IN GROUPS OR DIE!

Since when did you have to queue in groups in bgs to have a decent experience? The only people defending this are the people who enjoying farming players in the GY.

We have rbgs for a reason. Want to play with a group, then queue against other groups.

pvp in bgs isnt a solo game mode. it never has been.

rated isn’t the answer, if you queue one game per week it sounds like the right place, but if you are a pvp main and just queue for pvp all day, then you don’t want every single fight to be a rated match.

a very close knock out drag out intense match is awesome and rememberable when it is every once in a while, but when you make that every match, it will just burn people out, most of the time they just want to relax and have fun.

on top of that, playing with friends in a bg is always better than playing solo. eventually you will just want to mess around with some friends and rated is not the venue for that.

and finally, people often suggest RBGs for premades because they think all premades just want to stomp pugs and they think sending premades to rated will give them a taste of their own medicine. its not a suggestion made because its a particularly good or well thought out one, its a suggestion made out of emotional frustration from losing.

From my understanding in regards to some recent cs liaison interactions, unrated PVP is at the bottom of the food chain for this company.

It is very obvious that this area of the game is on auto pilot, nothing is being updated.
The only thing that is being looked at is analytics, in which quality has no bearing over quantity.
Folks will gobble up the garbage and it looks fine on paper. :dracthyr_shrug:
There are some steps players can take to bring notice of this, one of them being refusal to queue up.
Vote with your feet.

On a positive note the developers have shown sparks of great passion once again with the recent change of ownership.
Microsoft clean up team is long overdue.

I agree that the typical premade vs. pug game is an awful experience, and hope Blizzard does something to make it less awful.

The old gaslit rhetoric “Queue times will plummet” is questionable at best.
More players in queue looks like a much healthier choice imo.
Quality of matches will bring more into the fold, and thus queue times will be better.

Matchmaking updates can not be a negative.

As mentioned, quantity over quality does appease the masses. :dracthyr_shrug:
