Premades killing random BGS

Removing factions? May as well change the name of the game. I get there is a holding hands thing now, but when we gonna get back to WARCRAFT.

 There is no war in Ba Sing Se

There wasn’t. It was outside Ba Sing Se. take that.

That’s what classic is for. Retail WoW and its player base has moved so far away from the faction warfare that right now all factions are doing for battlegrounds is holding gameplay hostage.

I am all about the Alliance versus Horde war, but retail battlegrounds can no longer support it.

If it’s what you enjoy, just admit it.

I admit it.

Well of course premades aren’t going to be an issue if you’re in one. :man_facepalming:

After skipping a season and coming back, I find the pvp game refreshing. Mostly because I just dont care anymore, and believe it or not, I am having more fun! 1 button and watching youtube, I kinda dig it!

These are rampant during prime time for epic bgs. Horde has more premade groups and they run until past mid night. They love farming pugs and they’re usually stacked with 10 healers minimum.

Same server is not a way to determine if the other team is a premade. This is something that people brought with them from the old days but is no longer relevant

90% of people claim they see a premade anytime there is coordination or a stomp. So basically they have no idea. To be fair they might guess accurately sometimes, but generally there are just salty they’re losing and need something to blame

The other 10% know there is a premade because they play enough BGs to recognize the people in groups or they are in the same communities as them. Or run with them

Q syncing is easier to catch though

Are we talking about five man premades in random bgs (10-15 player) games or are we talking about the big epic Que synch losers who stain the big 40man epic bgs? Because those people are giant losers and scum

They aren’t an issue regardless. It’s random bgs. Premade or solo, if you’re not doing insane numbers and leading your team to an early GY farm in most of your matches then you’re doing something wrong.

Doing that with friends just happens to be a bit more enjoyable.

Limit group size to 3 players, “problem” mostly solved. (Think OP is taking about regular bgs)

It’s not an optimal “fix” but times change and with wow’s reduced playerbase, having half an entire bg group stacked ends up being a mess 90+% of the time and it now happens a lot more often since there are fewer players for bg matches to begin.

You’re seriously going to lose some money out of this blizavision.

This does nothing to address the problem, and further punishes friends randomly deciding to play together in a game that is intended to encourage online interactive play with friends.

I have no idea how they address the queue synching but I suspect that’s the best direction to fix. If you limit it to 3, you just increase the amount of queue syncing required to fill a bg, while also punishing guilds/groups of friends that play together.

This does basically everything to fix the complaints about premade spam in bgs, I don’t think OP is talking about synchers in 40 man bgs. A 3 man group makes a match against people queuing randomly absolutely nowhere near as 1 sided as having half the ppl on one side being in a group camping the gy.

Yea spamming those all day until literally 5 am isn’t exactly “randomly”, and there is a dedicated game mode for those who want to do this already, they just choose not to queue for it, for random x reasons. Like I said, times change, it’s not the best way to deal with this but there’s just a lot less players now.

35 players can solo queue and also count backwards from 5. limiting group size wont do anything.

And then drop the Que when the matchmaking system doesn’t give them their desired number of people inside.

The matchmaking system actively tries to split up groups that’s why Que dropping is so prevalent.

Funny how people are trying to conflate premades in regular bgs with synchers in 40 man bgs, don’t think OP is talking about synchers and reducing group size would do a lot to fix regular 10-15 man bgs complaints.

The Que system is just horrible imo. Spent an hour today solo queuing just trying to get into anything. Avg wait time was around 6 mins, never popped for anything. Requed multiple times, finally gave up and got off.

Blizz needs to do something just in the area of maintenance making it work better period, premades aside.

But we’re also on an ancient engine. One day they might dust off that moldy money and use something else.

Cause RR is mercing all the damn time. END MERC MODE BLIZZ!
