Premades have ruined pvp for both sides. A pug group vs a group that has discord, perfect comp, and out gears most pugs should not be facing off. You sit in a que for 20 min or so to just get beat in 4-5 min. What will eventually happen is people will no longer que.
Do not sit there any say that you can form your own premade. This is probably one of the worst arguments. Most people that put together a premade are going for highwarlord and play 10+ hours a day. Good luck putting your own premade together just to play a couple game or at least a premade that can compete.
The people that sit there any say premades are fine are the same people that stomp pugs all day without any real challenge and want easy honor. We all know that horde pugs stomp all over alliance pugs.
Any person with half a brain will tell you that a team over discord, a perfect comp, and out gears the other team will 100% win. We all can agree which team would win. I know where id place my money.
I propose a solution to the problem. Its quite simple. When a premade ques 6 or more people, it puts a priority for you to fight another premade. If you dodge the que you get a 10 min deserter penalty. If there are no other premades queing for you to fight at the time then you can fight a pug. This would at least be a little more fair then what we got.
If you que with only 5 people you can vs a pug. It is a little more fair that way the pug stands somewhat of a chance. Also people that want to go for highwarlord but cannot find a premade have a chance too, by putting 10+ hours in. It would help eliminate teams that control who get highwarlord and who doesnât.
And as for you premades, we all love pvp and want to get gear. But what happens after you get the gear and pvp has died because pugs have quit. How are you going to enjoy that gear you worked so hard for? Everyone that gets gear wants to be able to use it and destroy others. But you will not be able to use it if pvp has died.
If it were up to me, I would limit premades to 5 people for all bgâs. Iâm a no changes guy but Blizzard has messed with queue mechanics enough already that the system is already tainted.
Takes mad skills to be Stomping green wearing pugs who are dealing with Blizzardâs awful team building RNG. MAD SKILLS BRO!
I was in a WSG pug once against an Alliance premade. I got one of the druids who fell behind the pack. The person was terrible 1 on 1. She had no counter abilities, and everything she did was so cookie cutter, and predicable. Toss these maggots in the Arena.
Agreed. Iâm not anti social, and I love PvP. I enjoy asking guildies if they want to Q with meâŠaâŠpremadeâŠif you will and we even hop on discord, but its a semi premade at best and its for fun.
However this is usually between 3-6 people total. You still get farmed just the same by premades as when you solo Q. Within 3 matches of getting stomped by full premades you just stop Qing. This feels bad. Trust me, we arent bad players, and its not like we dont come PvP specâd or some of us (me) with consumes like thistle tea or FAPs. Even us âsemi hardcoreâ people are fed up with this crap.
I agree with you, but the âno changesâ crowdâ. Well, theyâre people with really low self esteem.
They have 10 alts, and raid in 10 different guilds. They play 24/7. Itâs same for people who want to pvp in classic. They donât want competition. They want easy mode wow. Thatâs why theyâre in a premade. ITâs why players think theyâre good for parsing in a game where you press one button 99% of the fight. The average classic player is just a big ball of low self esteem.
The no changes guys are the same ones who hit GM in 8 weeks and stack with a 15 man that has 5 GrandMarshalls and 10 field marshalls. Those numbers didnt even exist at the same time on a vanilla server but âno changesâ if its harmful to their ability to cheat the original game as it was.
In this thread: Multiple people who are too chicken to post on their classic main knocking those who play in premades. Most of them probably got steamrolled by premades all day and thus they are angry.
Pharos, for example, cannot stop talking about how anyone who ranks past 10 (probably because thatâs his goal so thatâs the threshold as he is a phenomenal player even though heâs too scared to post on his main) is terrible at PVP and will, therefore, fail in arenas. This is all because he beat a high ranked alliance druid apparently.
Hey, I personally love a good fight. I came back to classic for world PVP and to run into 1v1s and 2v2s etc in the wild. Premade vs premade is fine with me. Iâve had great pug vs pug games. I 30% pugged and 70% premaded my way to rank 14. I know exactly how it feels to get steamrolled by 8 premades in a row when pugging. People need to calm it down a bit on the premade bashing though. Players are doing what they have to do, it doesnât mean they are bad.
It is also very possible to do like a semi-decent premade with your guild for example (where you are friends with everyone) and only go in for a few games after a raid.
I was on earthfury for a 3-4 months, and I get that the premade bashing goes to far. I respect your opinion. This is an excuse for the toxic meta that has formed around BGs and a garbage honor system. It doesnt have to be this way is the point. Its 2020. Not 2005.
I do this. Itâs usually not a full premade however, and you are at a severe disadvantage the majority of games. My point is that itâs un-enjoyable for both premades, and non-premades. I dont know how you feel, and Iâm not going to tell you how to feel, but I would assume it doesnât feel great farming PuGs or having ally premades quit after the first few minutes because HoNoR PeR HoUrâŠYou did what you had to in order for rank 14, but I think you can agree its toxic as all hell.
