Premade blitz queue

the faster pace of blitz meets 10v10… or at least allow groups to queue into blitz. why reward antisocial behavior and punish those who want to play with friends… youll say there is no punishment but the unintended fallout of blitz is rbgs are dead.
i would like to see the data on how many rated bgs go on throughout a week vs blitz games… wow wide… blitz is hugely popular because anyone can get into it … Ive sat in LFG for 3 hours in the last week just seeing if any rbg games came up and none… ive started groups and noone signed up…

If there was premade blitz queue then it should only ever go against other premades. It’s already bad enough with people queue syncing and in vc when it’s supposed to be the solo queue mode.

Im sorry but if I see my buddy johndragonborn in my game im gonna ask him to join cord so we can scream at each other. Why u acting like this is cheating

It’s one thing if you run into your friend and hop into vc together, it’s another thing when the whole group is people queue syncing and in vc doing crazy teamwork and cc setups the whole game while the other team is entirely randoms. It’s against the spirit of being a solo queue mode playing with randoms and doing your best.

oh there is people premading in Blitz…just not the way you want :upside_down_face:

Rated battlegrounds were already dead. Blitz was just the final nail in the coffin.

It’s the archaic system that’s holding blitz back. People realize you can game the q so they do so. Blizzard should know by now when designing something.

“Will they take the inch?” Nah bro, they take the mile. Everytime.

Yeah man I miss watching Bailamos among others fly hacking with his healers the whole game.

Let’s not forget that community spawned some of the most toxic individuals in the game.

Do you mean a dedicated 8v8 mode where you make a raid of 8 and queue up and are put against another full raid of 8?
That could basically replace rated battlegrounds, but it would probably be just as dead.

yes. its hard to find 10 people let alone 2 groups of 10 people to face eachother
… It would be ok to queue up 5 and pug 3 with other party queues being who they face
anything to get some kind of way to play with friends. In RATED

RBG’s weren’t exactly rocking prior to Blitz.

I do think RBG’s should have the same rule sets that Blitz does and that might even help its popularity increase.

I do not think that they should have premade’s able to queue in the same match pool with randoms.

i agree to some degree. 3 friends who have played the game together forever should be able to queue up regardless of spec . I literally play this game to enjoy time with my friends. thats fine in PVE but not PVP mentality urks me

Yes make 10v10 the Blitz rules. 8v8 and everything.

No this defeats the whole purpose of why Blitz is a thing to begin with. Would kill the bracket lol.

Solo queues are always more popular is pvp games. Even in PvE they are very popular. No one is punishing people wanting to play with friends, the problem is no one wants to spend the time forming groups over and over.

Eh it’s unfortunate but RBGs were already dead/dying before Blitz. Blitz just put them in the grave honestly.

Last 72 hours:
Blitz: 1796 games played
RBGs: 203 games played

Even 3v3 is hard for people to form through LFG. Trying to do that for 10v10 would be a futile endeavor.

Rated battlegrounds are dead and they’re not coming back. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if the bracket was removed entirely in Midnight.

agreed… however 3-5 people is easily doable if the option were to exist for friends to easily queue up blitz.

It sounds alright but realistically I think duo queue is the best they could do.

We just don’t have the population to keep making new game modes.

I could see a group queue for rated. Allows groups of 2-8 players to queue together and would fill in only with other groups in the group queue. So a completely separate queue from Blitz.

I just don’t know how well it would actually work out since it would probably take a very long time to find a compatible match.

how about this… offer solo blitz or mixed blitz… where people could optionally join mixed blitz and fill slots for groups running together… solo retains its charm , groups have their chance to queue and the multiplayer aspect of the MMO isnt lost .
