AoW is trash with a 2h vs high resilience targets though.

I don’t get preg. I’ve tried it BGs and every time, I get off 3-4 dinky little heals before dying.
Like, in order for AoW to proc, you need to be constantly critting someone, which isn’t always the case, even with a ~31% crit chance, due to resil. If you’re at range from the enemy and you’re about to die, well, you have to stand there and hard cast FoL — and preg doesn’t have silence or knockback reduction.
Maybe it’s better in 2s? I wasn’t able to do any Arena, my friends quit shortly after I resubbed for Wrath.

It’s really for 2s, and usually played w/ another class that has decent survivability on it’s own so that your heals are good because they’re spread out. It’s also played more like a DPS spec rather than heal which is why in BG you wouldn’t be considered a healer. I’ve seen prets top dmg in BGs, and god dang I hate fighting them in 2s as a melee. I imagine as a caster they’re pretty easy kill targets.
Warlock, Mage, and Priest all beat them in a 1v1. They’re hard countered by casters with cc.

Stop doing 2v2. thats the only bracket preg is viable. I agree tho they are an abomination.
any class can beat any other class if it is played poorly. You might not be as good as you think you are.
BUMP, the only real way survive a Preg Paladin as a warrior is to stack resil.

The 100% effective way to beat them is to stop playing PVP entirely because blizzard is carelessly compromising the ladder. Preg’s and OCE players galore.
Art of war nerf is a quality idea.
Its a Hybrid spec between Ret & Protection. They wear primarily PVE Prot gear and exclusively play with Death Knights or Ehance Shaman in 2v2. Their primary goal is to beat Healer teams, specifically Warrior/Paladin.
The protection paladin has enough healing and mitigation for both players, and the same damage as their partner.
Essentially rendering their opponent healer useless by overwhelming them with double damage, and their opponent DPS with protection gear and Sac Shield/Heals/Divine Sac etc… All the Holy paladin benefits without any real consequence.
Its the start of Retail BS where you see certain hybrid spec’s completely outperforme a spec entirely dedicated to that job. Think Shadowlands how a Ret paladin can be #1 on both the damage & Healing meter despite a resto druid being in the game…
Preg is foreshadowing of that Retail issue, and why no one in retail gives a flying F about PVP.

Only idiots think Wrath PVP is better than TBC. Wrath PVP is essentially useless, the devs back in the original run admitted they couldn’t balance it and removed Titles’ and such from 2v2.
never picked up pace again and PVP in retail is still garbage.
There was a small window of resurgence with RBG’s in cata but Wrath was the beginning of the end.
sounds like you play the most broken class /spec in the game and defending it and your Cr is probably still low Just admit its ungodly overpower and overtunned it need a severe nerf

exactly, palladins are the easist target if u are playing caster, the worst class to play in any aspect, meele, caster, healer is unholy dk.
