Oh I definitely think we will. They’ve all but said that we’ll clash with her a few times.
It’d be easy enough to change up the fights so that they don’t seem like repeats.

“she” is just in the form of an elf. its the literal harbinger of the void. going back to the age of the Black Empire cool lore behind the harbinger
I actually want him to be a bigger threat than Xalatah
He’s the one that got that dark heart thing and Xal just got it broken, so it would be a nice twist to have the “sneaky master plans to wihin plans person” be the one who gets betrayed for once
One of the Titans. They are definitely being set up as baddies.
I think Ve’nari will be a baddie at some point too. We haven’t seen the last of her!
My guess is we’ll be baited into fighting some avatar form of her, because slaying that form will be the final key in the creation of a fifth old god, along with the blood of the slain 4, and this new ultra powerful old god re-establishes the Black Empire across vast swaths of the planet’s surface. That’s what “Midnight” is, the darkness of a new Black Empire. This has Checkov’s Gun written all over it. “If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. Otherwise don’t put it there.” Old God blood is one heck of a pistol…it’s not being a part of the plot for no reason.
Devil’s advocate, this feels like a red herring to me. I’m wrong about that kind of thing all the time, but I don’t think it’s going to be as simple as “good or evil” with the Titans.
I just want them to explain the connection between the Brokers and the Ethereals.
You can’t just throw two almost completely identical races in the same game and pretend they’re unrelated.
They might be hesitant to bring up SL related factions at the moment.
There is that quest in the Arathi area where one rescues a sentient fish. When released it shows there are old god-ish things deep in the ocean of this underworld. Was that the developers having fun with a throwaway quest or a foreshadowing? Either way, I am not going to be doing any swimming there any time soon.
I was also thinking midnight like the doomsday clock. So not only the darkness of the new Black Empire but also threatening the end of Azeroth. So it just makes sense to me that we end this xpac on a huge loss.
I hope it’s Chromie. She really gets on my nerves and it would be so satisfying to actually kill her!
Prob Xal but not enough to kill her and she blinks into midnight
That’s what I thought too. My own theory is that The Last Titan also refers to the fact that we will be killing them in order to save Azeroth from exploding when the baby Titan inside the planet is born. The Titans are just using us to protect their interests while they incubate the new Titan inside Azeroth. They won’t care when we all die when the planet explodes.
Yeah this for sure. She’s gonna kill Thrall and this will set in motion a renewed horde vs alliance conflict. It also leaves us with… ZERO horde characters. Ideally Sylvanis brings garrosh back from hell or whatever so we can have a strong warchief leading the horde again.
Oh, my dear, Shadowlands is going to be central to the story! Go listen to Zoval’s words in the defeat cinematic. And now, realize, Sylvannas is going to return to save Alleria from making a similar compromise in her pursuit of Xal’atath as the one she made in her pursuit of Arthas. That’s forecasted like a hurricane. I’d bet real money on that plot point happening.
I’m still thinking there’s some timey whimey stuff going on with the arathi. We’ve not seen of their empire in the entirety of WoW/Warcraft, right? it wouldn’t surprise me if their transit over the sea was from a parallel Azeroth and as they got close to Pandaria - especially the timeless isle with its wonky space time effects (thinking that portal to AU draenor Gorgrond), they “fell into” our dimension - literally.
So time traveling evil arathis sound wild. But I’m here for it!
My Guess…
Void empowered Iridikron… and we will not win…
What are are the connections between the Fungari and the Sporegar?? Why has Blizzard kept them from teaming up?
Final boss will be having to replay shadowlands intro maw quest without any skips.
Iridikons plan is damage Azeroth enough to draw out the titans so he still has a lot more to do. It’s hard to tell tho, not one person predicted fyrakk lol. Just like wod no one predicted archimonde, legion nobody predicted Argus. Blizzard does manage to swerve us even if their choices are LOL
