Precognition should only reduce CC from the player you juked

New PVP Talent for all casters in Dragonflight:

Precognition – If an interrupt is used on you while you are not casting, gain 15% Haste and become immune to control effects for 4 seconds.

Personally, I do not want to be unable to stop Mindgames, CC, or burst because an enemy juked somebody else.

It would be better if Precognition granted haste and reduced incoming CC from a juked player, rather than punishing the whole team.

I imagine it might feel like Resolve did with big drain where you’re just sitting on something until you get locked then flinging out your important thing that can’t readily be stopped.

They could do something to make casters easier to pick up, but I’m not sure if this is it.

Yeah, no. Two players can keep someone CCd and micro interrupted for the majority of their go and then sit behind a pillar for the rest. Some classes can literally do this by themselves (DF Warrior, rogues, locks, etc).

welcome to counterplay and casters actually being able to use abilities. Maybe we’ll actually see comp diversity with casters that actually cast being played in more than 1 comp.

Prerecognition should not exist.

They keep trying to reinvent the wheel and end up stacking even more and more stuff to ignore and never balance.

The irony coming from what I assume is an Affliction reroll.

Two specs for sure can keep ONE other player CCd for the majority of their go.

That’s why each players has TEAMMATES to support and peel for them.

The game isn’t supposed to be designed around two rogues jumping a priest.

Kinda feel like depending on comp Dh/Dk/Rsham have a really easy time clobbering any caster if they gang up on him and pmuch take him out of the game for an extended period.

Fair enough. Apologies, as I am yet another salty malcontent with Blizzard induced ptsd.

Oh, yeah. Some comps just take somebody out of the game. Maps can sometimes help with this, then there’s just the “go next” ladder thing where you’re hoping to not queue into almost unwinnable matches too frequently.

Only thing I don’t like is when you have to have a pvp talent and you end up with less choices.

I love the way you guys act like spellcleaves are bad

I know for a fact none of you have ever healed if you think wizards are bad. Actuially the most miserable experience in the game is healing in to wizard cleaves.

Melee has been disgusting all of shadowlands don’t get me wrong, but I feel like just because you lost one game to a cleave, in your mind, spell celaves are “unplayable”.

You shouldn’t / can’t win EVERY game. You’re going to lose sometimes. That doesn’t mean your comp is bad and that melee are too good.

Play a healer healing a cleave in to a wizard team and tell me with w straight face that wizards are “bad”

Juke is a counter play.

Positioning is counter play.

People are acting as though casters literally can’t cast, when in reality they hardly cast as is unless it’s a CC/or a kill window, and even that’s few and far between.

I think that talent is cool because it adds a lot of depth the game. Its a good direction to take the game.

maybe remove the CC immune part and just make it 15% haste after a kick misses on you lol

that way it isnt frustrating and it still helps casters

Yes exactly! Casters were once able to kite melee, melee got a ton of tools to avoid being kited, then they had to give range massive instant damage because of the increased uptime melee had, then they had to give melee crazy amounts of micro ccs to stop the instant casts, now theyre giving casters precog to avoid the micro ccs.

We need them to stop this constant arms race.
