I’m unsurprised that this happens and unsurprised that nobody has been experiencing it since that ability is so seldom used.

Such a badly implemented mechanic man…

They’re kicking both players unintentionally

precog is just broken

This isn’t a bug.

If you target someone and kick them, and do not interupt a spell, they gain precog.

Kicking in to intervene or grounding is the same thing as kicking in to aura mastery. You didn’t land the interrupt. So the player gains precog.

Warriors that choose to spell reflect hexes instead of kicking first also open themselves up to getting hexed for free. Shear the reflect off, gain precog, now I hex you for free.

this wording explains unambiguously that wind shear reflect should generate precog, and kicking during aura mastery shouldn’t. the wording and effect are not in alignment, so the description or the effect need to be changed.

Tooltips in WoW have always been garbage.

Precog is simple, if you press kick and don’t interrupt someone you proc precog. You already know this, no reason to randomly reach here and call this a “bug”

If you kick in to vene, aura mastery, or grounding you 100000% should proc precog.

Sounds like you lost a game kicking in to vene / ground and you’re malding so you go to the forums reaching and calling it a bug.

Stop wasting peoples time, take the L and go next.

Precog has always been bugged. There’s literally so many instances when i land the kick and it gives them precog anyways. Last night in a bg, i interrupted this MW at least 5 times and he never stopped channeling soothing mist, and still got precog every single time.

Leave it to the small indie company to not test something and release into production loaded with bugs and then forget about it like always.

kicking into vene is essentially kicking into the warrior though.

I swear precog has a .05 lag effect added to it to help the caster…

Kicking into intervene means you essentially kicked the warrior and not the caster so yes it is indeed a bug.

whoeveer thought this idea of precog was good needs to be fired and or stay far from wow pvp

if you kick into grounding totem, you kinda deserve whats coming for you

oldest trick in the book

the kick is redirected in these scenarios

we’re all aware it’s coded poorly but the spell is quite literally landing on a completely different player (or totem) which SHOULD invalidate the precog

it doesn’t, it’s likely not a bug, and it probably won’t be fixed

but that’s not how it should work by their wording and it’s functionality

what you deserve for kicking into grounding totem: to deal with incoming casts without your kick

ya your kick missed, you proc precog

gg go next, dont kick into grounding next time!

no it didn’t. i was casting when someone cast cs at me.

what part of this wording confused you?

:dracthyr_shrug: dunno man, just dont kick into grounding totem

or do. hilarious when that happens.

thank you for the feedback up to your usual high standards felryn
