Preach and Asmon are both done

Really don’t give a damn what streamers say, they’re only saying the stuff they do so they wont get backlash from the viewers so everyone will like them more. Bet you all even though they said they’re done with WoW, pretty sure when the streams off they hop into the game.

Literally laughable that folks think these streamers actually care.

Never cared. Never will about streamers.

depends on how far you got now early yes it is PAINFULLY slow…but it does pick up pace in the 40s and gets better the close to 60 i feel you get. I do agree with Cox though he said WoW is more a street brawl while 14 is more a dance its not for everyone but yea at 1st its hard to push through

If this means they’ll get off of their soapboxes and stop clogging up YouTube with their opinions, then this is a good thing, I think. I’m glad they’re over it.

YouTube knows I play WoW, so it’s always suggesting their videos to me instead of something I might actually want to watch.

YT doesn’t know you play WoW unless you actually look up some WoW videos on it…

Obviously I do. I watch Hazel and have watched a couple of quests. If YouTube was smart they’d realize that I want to know how to play the game, not watch other people talk about and play the game.

I enjoy Preach’s content however

i started playing probably at the same time as preach and didnt know who he was
i quit while preach was still playing and didnt know who he was
i came back while preach was still playing and didnt know who he was

Preach is probably my favorite WoW content creator but i dont play this game because of him and i wont quit because he is gone, I didnt grow up in this internet influencer Era (as most players my age) so the Idea that Asmon or Preach or Bellular are going to quit or have quit sucks in terms of “i liked watching their WoW content” but is has no bearing on whether i continue to play or enjoy playing.

First up, I only ever speak for myself. My catchalls are just that, to catch all that may agree.

With pineapple on pizza, that’s just a crime to me. But I don’t have the choice of having better FFXIV music (different pizza toppings) play (it does exist) instead of questionable music choices. Telling me the only recourse is to lessen the FFXIV experience is to turn it off is exactly what I did. I uninstalled the game and now it no longer bothers me.

I’m not sure if that is the designers intent but its the only way I can express my dissatisfaction with their choices. Other people are fine with them, that’s great. But I’m not wrong with disliking it. Trying to convince me if I would just ignore the bad choices they have made in the game (not just music) means its still a good game leaves me thinking people are just looking for validation of their own choices. For some, that’s true and it is a good game. Not for me.

And honestly, FFXIV has been out for many years. This sudden discovery of its greatness has me questioning just how good it is and isn’t this just a judgement of how far WoW has fallen. I tried it a couple years ago. It wasn’t good then and I think they made changes because they knew it was lacking. Its great they try to address the problems but a short dull quest is still a dull quest. 1-50 needs a total rework but that’s unlikely to happen. And I always dislike the notion of games getting good later either just getting through the problem areas or the next patch. They should always be good.

One reason I’m so disappointed in WoW is it used to be better. And they seem unable to change that but I’m hopeful. I still find it the most enjoyable game out there and if that past didn’t exist I might not be as disappointed as I am with it.

Who GAF if certain streamers aren’t playing? I guess if you’re one of their fanbois it matters, but most don’t care at all.

Imagine basing what you play off of what some stranger on the internet plays.

Get a life

You are always welcome to express your opinions on the music.

Maybe people were misunderstanding what was being sent across. I took it as someone doesn’t like bad music, therefore, it’s bad design when it’s more or less “I don’t like it”. Some people think M+ is bad design while others like it.

You are correct on FFXIV being out, etc. I’ve played it too since the beginning and it’s not gotten much more revolutionary over the years. It’s just been new story and “new” content. I agree that it’s probably not that FFXIV has gotten better but WoW has gotten so bad, people met their breaking points and went to the next best thing.

WoW was better, absolutely. When exactly is a matter of opinion. Take me back to Mists. It had everything I personally needed.

Honestly, greed is what’s hurting this company, not the lack of creative ideas or fun gameplay. They said so themselves when they were asked about the new character customizations, that instead of releasing them now they intend to “save” it for the new expansion. Why? Because it’ll get people hyped for their newer and cheaper content they likely rushed together.

They could easily release a patch, or expansion with much of the content the players have been asking for these past years, but they instead decide to release it bit, by bit as a way to keep the player just hanging on. These products are their “hooks” for their flashy advertisements for the new expansion. Heaven forbid they actually be forced to think of new concepts for their game, but instead open up that little dark book full of player requests, close their eyes and pull one out and make it the driving appeal to look forward to.

Don’t cross the streams!

Played ff14 cause I made a post about how bad it was before playing and got flames. Worse game I ever played.

it already did

Are you talking Ghostbusters or Step Brothers?

Whether you support blizzard or not right now is a big deal to the lemmings.

Of course the more popular streamers are going to quit streaming a game company with legal issues. Even if 25% of their subscribers are angry at Blizzard, they will cry much louder than the 75% that aren’t.

Don’t be fooled. this is purely a business decision. $$$$$$
