If I buy my preorder now do I get to make a Mag’har DK today or do I have to wait till a week before shadowlands launch?
Maybe I’m not understanding, but I have to ask. WHY is there a level 120 boost offered in the CE, IF we are getting a level squish to max level of 60? I’m not trying to be negative, I just honestly am wondering. I know its SUPER early in blizzcon, and not all the info is available yet but if what I am hearing is true, max level will be 60.

I think that part is releasing with 8.3
All your 120 characters will become level 50. Shadowlands has an additional 10 levels for 60 max

They had stated their current subscription model is that you get ALL previous expansions when the new one goes LIVE.
I don’t think you would get it with the pre-purchase, but likely when they launch the pre-PATCH before the next expansion launch.
Regardless of whether you buy it or not, you SHOULD get BfA when the next xpac goes live.

i have seen nothing on pathfinder, or flight. there is a very extensive amount of information on mmo-champion, but no mention of either. it is not looking good.

The pre-order bonuses start now and from all reports the ability to make any race a DK starts with 8.3 or soon after. Shadowlands is scheduled to drop late 2020 (up until December 31, 2020).
This means you can use your boost to get a toon to max, play it for 12 months gearing it up or grinding mogs before Shadowlands hits. From the reactions on the forums and social media it looks like we have an incoming flood of Panda DK’s! The boost gives those players not leveling an alt normally for heritage gear the option to get a toon up there they actually want to play going forward, and I expect with the relaxation on races we are getting a heap more Death Knights.
Expect to see many Highborn DK threads as well as calls for Demon Hunter races to be relaxed now too

VHX; the drop rate is near abysmal. It’ll be worth it in the end, but dang. Could be a bit higher of a a drop rate, or even a blue post on their thoughts. I don’t expect to get it in 5 minutes, but people have been on it for 10+ hours and not even gotten half way to 40 essences, while a few have finished it. I haven’t seen my 120 boost pop up yet either. Oh well. Still can’t WAIT for the expansion!!!

If you buy the heroic or epic pre-purchase in hopes of getting the cool looking transmog set, have fun. You basically paid $60 or $80 to do a quest that requires you to collect an item that has a stupid low drop chance. Thanks Blizzard.

I’m patient and I’ll be working most of the weekend anyway, I presume the drop rate is not intended. I’ll farm the stuff later. The hearthstone, pet, weapon skin, 30d game time, and the 8.3-release AR DKs, and of course the next expansion itself, are more than enough that the $79.99 doesn’t bother me.
Well well, Gday Mr.Blue ~ Others & myself would love to Pre-Purchase Shadowlands Now - But are suckers for the box edition & additional goods, especially the arts (If available this time around) and from what I’ve encountered, have a few regarded questions which I’m sure many others do too:
- Will there be a physical epic collectors physical edition? - If so is there a specific Timeframe of when it will be available / or is it ‘yet to be announced’ but definitely in the cards?
- And ultimately, if we plan on getting the physical collectors, but would like early access to the digital-rewards now – Will we be able to pre-order the digital epic collectors now, then when we buy the physical edition have the credits from the digital refunded to us (In Blizzard credits of cause) like has been done in the past?
