Nah, it was merely ok.
Before they greatly boosted the daily bronze gains, it was another inane grind.
It only became great when they decided we could get decent thread drops and bronze from the dailies.
You CLEARLY did not get what the event is about.
I’m having much more fun in Remix than in Retail, even after getting almost everything I wanted from it.
We liked it, even with nolife grinders doing their thing, because guess what, we don’t need to be that OP to enjoy the event.
No you don’t. Unless you enjoyed the farm/collecting, not the reward.
People who farm for mount X usually do it because they want to ride mount X, not for the +1.
I think the pre patch is fine. A pre patch in general is not something I want to spend hundreds of hours on. You can jump in if you’re available to, spend a few minutes and jump out.
I spent many many hours in remix. I do not want a pre patch with that level of time commitment to get everything I want.
I think he meant in terms of quality, polish and the overall feeling of time well spent.
Not to make a pre-patch another remix, that wouldn’t make much sense.
Remix had many issues early on and they sorted them out. Some of those ‘fixes’ really angered some people.
This is day two of an event that I personally feel is fine being a ‘mini’ event, and based upon the last event that I just ran, the lag problem seems to be fine, but who knows if that’s fixed for good.
I would not want to have to a lot of grinding for three weeks, only to step into a whole new expansion where presumably I would be spending even more time. It’s nice to a low key period before the big release.
Yeah that’s not really the point. The point is, one is a well-regarded event that once it’s bumps were ironed out was delightful. The other is just as hated as MoP Remix was at launch, and hopefully they can fix it, sooner rather than later, because in its current iteration, it stinks.
Yep, the biggest difference between the two events. One values your time and gives agency, the other doesn’t, and holds you to an asinine schedule.
I don’t know which one is which in this situation because the Frogger rollback disrespected the time of all the people who no-lifed frogs in the first week.
Thankfully I wasn’t among them but still, the ‘value your time’ argument kind of rings hollow nowadays when talking about Remix, where the people that mindlessly grinded got shunted back below what anyone else would be, deleting hours of progress. Compared to the pre-patch event where grinding mindlessly is so bad that I don’t know if anyone would rightfully go about doing it.
