Shows in account settings as ordered but on the battle net app it still shows The War Within. Does it take time to show up? I seem to remember pre-ordering other xpacs and they showed up on the bnet app right away as being upgraded to the xpac
I’d give it a little time. You can also try logging completely out of the launcher and back in again to see if that gives it a nudge.
I preordered it when they launched it and mine still shows War Within
Done that several times. What worries me more is it also still says upgrade available…But I’ll give it a bit ty
Does it show the purchase being “Complete” in your transaction history?
Yes. In the account settings on the webpage it also shows Account name then Midnight
As long as it’s showing up there, I wouldn’t worry too much. It may just be that the launcher needs an update at some point.
K ty. The 30 day game time was applied to the account so it must have went thru
That is normal. The app won’t change to say Midnight until (probably) pre-patch. It will change at the same time the login and/or loading screens are updated.
I could be very wrong but I swear both pre orders of DF/WW it changed to indicate that expansion was on the account and the upgrade available went away
If you goto account page it should show the upgrade. The app wont show until at least til prepatch
Ok I grasp that. However despite my memory apparently being faulty with DF and WW where I swear the app changed when I ordered them.
The one thing I am absolutely 100% went away was UPGRADE AVAILABLE. It still says upgrade avaliable and I bought top teir version
The app will do that, just check the account page and verify you got the upgrade
I think your confusion comes from the pre-desktop app days, where you redeem codes through Account Management.
When adding a new expansion code, there was a small animation and the info changed to show the code has been activated.
The desktop app does not do that. It’s the same view for everyone, and it will always be the latest expansion. When Midnight is ready, it will change on the app and loading screens).
The website does show Midnight on certain pages after your preorder has gone through. Maybe that’s the confusion? Yeah, it’s still TWW, it just shows Midnight in like one place on account settings.
As I have said multiple times it was after I pre ordered DF and WW.
@Anzath The biggest issue right now is it still says upgrade grade available. Which I know before that goes away when I have ordered the highest tier in the past
Which version of Midnight did you buy?
Do you have multiple licenses?
I’d say ignore it if you purchased the higher tier this time.
If you have more the one account on your bnet it will keep prompting for upgrade. Could also do that if you did not get the highest version of war within.
Mine keeps saying upgrade and to subscribe
The Epic 89.99 edition just like before
@vorsol I’ve had multiple accounts since 2006 it has never on my main account said upgrade available after upgrading 1 license and not the 2nd. Only if I use the drop down box and the 2nd account name in there. Then it would show it. Nor has it ever said subscribe on my main account when my 2nd on is unsubbed. And it wouldn’t since they are separate license’s
Not my first time doing this which is why it’s concerning. And I bought the highest one
From a Google search
Upgrades are account-specific: If one of your licenses is still a Starter Edition or is missing the latest expansion, the “upgrade available” prompt will only apply to that specific license, not all of them.
Can a CM just close this thread now please since I have said the same thing multiple times?
Mute the thread.
As long as your account management page accurately indicates that the license has been upgraded, I don’t see any cause for concern.
