I not the type of guy to write an emotionally compelling post so if someone wants to take my points and rewrite this in a better way, please do.
The facts are this, in only the first phase of the game too many people have already lost intrest and quit because the game is too focused on the Ideal rather than the practical. This applies to PvP and PvE.
Sure Raids are ment for 25 man but most of the people are who are playing this game are older, they can’t no life like they used too and getting 25 people to show isn’t realistic anymore. Blizzard must buff the loot drops and in 10 man to nearly match 25 man, this has nothing to do what is ideal favoring 25 man the better version of raid this is accepting where we are at in the health of the game and taking the need steps to keep this game somewhat alive.
The same goes for PvP. Sure 3v3 arena is the ideal verson of the game but the player pool is too small and too inactive to support 3v3 gaming. Players are discouraged and quit because they are unable to get 3v3 games. We have to accept were we are and have to make the change to put glad titles back in 2v2, this has nothing to with what is ideal this is needed to keep people from quitting the game. Also, 3v3 solo and 2v2 needs to be add with mounts and titles as well. The game is too dead and these actions must taken to keep what little is left of this game somewhat alive.
I could rant on but even these forums are dead at this point, so who is even going to read this. The game might be gone beyond repair anyways. Actions too slow and too late.
Well, I did. I gotta say, you seem to be stating a lot of idealism and calling it practical. But fair enough; you want what you want.
All of this is _fixed in Retail, but for some reason people must really just want to complain for the sake of complaining, so they refuse to solve their own problems and make claims that don’t even really make any sense.
Is it easier to get 10 people together than 25 for you? Is that more important than getting slightly more loot? Then save the time of getting 25 people together and do 10 mans. Don’t like that tradeoff? Do 25 mans.
Same thing with 2s vs 3s…
There are just so many options right now. I gather from forum posts that people who are complaining are struggling to find something that fits them just right. Best of luck, I guess.
I am commenting on the mass leaving of players and their stated reasons for leaving the game, you are pretending all these people didn’t leave and/or didn’t state their reasons for leaving.
Is that how you typically respond to people who engage with you? I hope it works out for you!
I’m not pretending anything. I just stated some opinions. I hope you don’t feel that I was attacking you personally and are not emotionally distraught at the idea that I believe making tradeoffs between ease of formation for raid or arena size and the value of the rewards received is a reasonable design decision.
Raids in Cata and on are explicitly meant for 10 and 25 man(until mythic raids at 20 man).
What happened in reality is that given the same lockouts, loot, and difficulty 10 man proved to be massively more popular. Blizzard increased the loot in 25 man in classic to try to force people into 25 man because it’s more “epic”
Talk about how you are going to get back all the people who left the game for the reason stated, and what is your plan to stop the current player from continuing to leave because of the problems already listed.
The people who defend 25m loot progression are the ones desperately clinging to GDKPs to make progression/gold. They know they can’t hard carry people in 10m or cant be hard carried in 10m so they hop on here and defend it as if Classic heavily favoring RMT setups is the spirit of the game.
