Potentially dumb question about GDKP in MoP

I’ve been under the impression that with MoP comes personal loot, which, unless I misunderstand something, renders GDKP kinda impossible to do. I’m just wondering if that’s true. Will MOP have personal loot? and is that going to make GDKPs impossible?

For the record, I neither dislike or adore GDKP. I’m not trying to start a debate about whether they should or shouldn’t exist. I don’t really care either way. Just wondering if it’s possible. A guildie is being poked to add his resto sham to a GDKP guild’s run and that surprised me to hear since I didn’t think that would be possible in MOP. (I did not play original mop… stopped at the end of cata).

IIRC groups can change the loot method.

ML should still exist as well, since I think that was removed in BFA?

Either way there are already several GDKP threads, even some you were in and contributed to the discussion.

I kind of think you are trolling and are possibly an alt of that orc with SOD in their name.

Personal loot doesn’t work in raids until WoD. And it’s not forced personal loot until BFA.

Most of the reason I was confused was watching vids about those 'bonus rolls" you have to farm up the things to get. That made me assume we’d be on personal loot off the rip.

Many of the changes tested in the Mists of Pandaria Classic beta will be implemented in the live version of Mists of Pandaria Classic. Blizzard has indicated that they are actively gathering feedback on class changes and other potential adjustments during the beta and will use this feedback to refine the expansion before its official launch. Personal loot for raids is one of those changes. We are getting the final patch release of MOP meaning personal loot is the raid edition we are getting… ML is no longer an option its currently this way on the Beta and the Beta release currently is the one we are getting. Unless Blizz turns the cart around.

We are not getting the release of 2012 we are getting the current beta release that is live right now and ML is no where in it. These are changes made by blizzard at the current state of release. There are a number of changes that are going to be live that we did not have in mop release of 2012. It is what it is sadly.

I still haven’t seen a single mention of personal loot anywhere except this guy (and it’s literally just him) claiming it’s in and the only loot system. Wowhead hasn’t mentioned it. Nobody I know who is raid testing on beta is saying it’s personal loot.
