Have you heard of Fellowship? It basically just takes what players want most… (the dungeons) and turns it into a game… there’s no grinding until you reach the good stuff which I’m not sure how I feel about… I think I’d like it more if they added small leveling hubs where you’re more likely to run into other players. WoW’s world is too big(and empty).

That’s what you want, not what the majority of players prefer. WoD was exactly like that, a waiting room in the garrison, just to queue for raids, dungeons, and PvP.
Last I checked, not many people enjoyed that.
You think the majority plays wow for the world content?.. curious indeed.
You don’t speak for the “majority” and what they may prefer.
I wouldn’t even call it a competitor
“WoW competitor.”
He said the thing!
is this game a single player game?
may i know, how much does it cost?
ty
No, I’m not speaking for the majority. But when half of the WoW community is playing different versions of Classic because they already see Retail as nothing more than a waiting hub for weekly dungeons—and this has been the case for years, with the topic resurfacing constantly on the forums—it’s not hard to understand that a large portion of players don’t want to just stare at a simple window, press “Play”, and wait 10 minutes for their dungeon.
wow is just soo big now , that it has soooo many different type/play-style;
- pet-battles
- pvp
- pve
- solo pve/pvp
- garrisons/housing
- farming gold for those scammers (we have to be inclusive remember)
- achievements
- addons; and yes it is serious business
- cosmetics
- and all for $20/month, cheap as a starbuck frap-e-chino
I’m keeping a loose eye on Fellowship. It looks fun, and I like the artstyle I’ve seen so far.
No ranged goblin class but you know. I guess you can’t have everything.
I find it funny their counter to this was then to throw out made up statistics then proceed to speak for the majority again
Edit: Oop sorry… not majority… half lol.

You think the majority plays wow for the world content?.. curious indeed.
Maybe not, but we certainly did not want this also:

WoD was exactly like that, a waiting room in the garrison, just to queue for raids, dungeons, and PvP.
What we want is a world we can do things in while during our downtime, be it raids, PVP or PVE, we ALSO want things to do when we are not doing our primary content.
They may have shot themselves in the foot relying on the trinity type gameplay if they want quick jump in, jump out, play.

Have you heard of Fellowship?
No.

It basically just takes what players want most… (the dungeons) and turns it into a game…
5-man dungeons are boring mini-games.
If they ever developed some sort of actual dungeon-delving experience rather than running the same handful of repeatable scripted scenarios I might actually be interested in it. WoW dungeons don’t deserve to be called dungeons.
How do people think they can make anything remotely resembling compelling encounters without the trinity?
I think it’s possible if you give each player the abilities of all roles… but toned down, Might be more chaotic but I imagine it’s doable.
yes, we know about Mythic+, The Game. Pretty sure it’s been discussed here a coupla times. I could be mistaken.
but let us know how it turns out for you.
I do honestly wonder how much of WoW’s Mythic+ population will move there, since that is Fellowship’s primary target audience.
Is the term ‘WoW competitor’ the new ‘WoW killer’?
