I do wonder how the perception of difficulty changes not only with flat nerfs to the raids, but also the gear available at the time of those nerfs. Sure going in to T11 in 4.2 was super easy but you also had Hyjal rep catch-up gear that put alts past T11 ilvl to begin with and you were usually running with a few mains or alts who’d been through Firelands and gotten some 370 gear.
Walking into Heroics at 350 ilvl is still going to be rough, it will just get exponentially easier as you gear up to 370 and beyond.
You aren’t going into 4.2
These raids are based off 4.2, everyone is in for a huge shock come raid day.
If you think pre nerf cata content isn’t already dad content compared to mythic raiding, then you are mistaken. I’m sorry, but this dad content is correctly targeted if you believed that
I mean I doubt you would even get the heroic raids down in Cata even if we are using 4.1
I know. Note the use of past-tense words like “was”, “had”, and “were”. I was referring to ACTUAL 4.2, not what we’re going into next week.
Ah ok I misunderstood, I see a lot of misinformation, people think the pre nerf raids we are getting are the 4.2 raids and it’s actually the much harder version of 4.1
