To start off let me say both my memory and wowhead may be wrong, but I noticed today during prepatch that frozen orb is for Frost spec only, when I vividly remember using frozen orb as arcane in MoP. According to wowhead it was added in 5.0.4 for all mages and in 6.0.2 (WoD) it was changed to be Frost Spec only. Is both wowhead and my memory wrong? Has anyone else noticed anything similar for other classes/specs? Is this one of the new MoP changes and I just missed the post about it or is it a bug?
It was changed to be Frost only in Warlords prepatch, so it may have been an unlisted change alongside all of the other class changes they’ve made for Classic that came from WoD prepatch
Ah, so do you know if they’ve stated that they are not listing all of the changes that they are doing or do you think this could possibly be an unintentional change? I feel a change like that should have some kind of note if it was intentional, its a pretty decent CD even for arcane at 90 for pvp.
Probably unintended. I haven’t seen anywhere that they mentioned making any changes that they wouldn’t list, and the changes they have listed have been extremely thorough
That or they just think it’s normal behavior to begin with
I’ll probably bug report it then, because as far as I’ve seen theyve stated none of the changes should affect pvp (at least as far as im aware they haven’t changed that) and thats a pretty big change for arcane that changes pvp pretty hard by not having a whole CD we used to have.
