During leveling I’m good with the reminder to select talents that apply to game play, questing, storyline advancement. Usually in a spot where I can take a moment with those. What I was wondering was, is there a way to disable the push/alert to select PVP talents? I’m on a PVE server. Less than zero interest in PVP content and it’s really distracting to have that pop up and demand I take the time to select talents that have no relevance at all to the game for me. I grab whatever is next to the button it wants me to fill, don’t ever both to look because I just don’t care but it would be nice if there was a disable for that.
You can try looking for an addon to see if someone has made one that does this, but honestly, it’s easier to just select a random PVP talent and move on with your day

I also have no interest in PvP. When it bugs me to select, I click a random one so it shuts up. It takes less than five seconds, and what I choose is irrelevant since I don’t PvP. I only need to do the selections once per character as I level up, and it never bugs me again.
As for addons, there was one created, due to a BfA bug, that would block the notice from popping up after you’ve already selected a PvP talent; that was an old bug in BfA and that addon is/was called “Noitsnot”.
However, that bug was fixed and there isn’t any such issue in Shadowlands. What you’ll want to do now is just pick a random talent and forget about it. 
Unfortunately, there is no addon to block the notice if the talent is legitimately available.

Keep in mind, having a pvp talent doesn’t mean you are playing in pvp mode.
All servers in the main environment are actually either pve or pve-rp. You have to purposely flag for pvp, aggro a pvp guard, or go into warmode now. Unless you are on a classic server, in which case you don’t have pvp only talents.
There’s most likely add-on that do block this, I just can’t think of any.

Only reason I ask is I was leveling in an area with lots of mobs and the thing pops up and I just didn’t have time to mess with it because I was in the thick of things, I tried to grab something ended up accidentally clicking that and bam…screen cuts to that and I end up dead. I’ll look for an addon. Wasn’t sure if you could just toggle it off somehow or something, was hoping you could disable it but I’ll take an addon and be happy.
There an addon called HiddenTalentAlert that hides these pop ups as well as the pop ups from the adventure guide and collections.

I’m going to chime in to just pick a random talent. The alerts are annoying, but it takes a split second to pick something at random and it’s not an issue anymore.

Understandable, Sighberia. As the others mentioned you have a couple of options. You can find an addon that will suppress that message or you can simply select a random PvP talent and it should no longer bug you.
You don’t have to spend time picking the PvP Talent, if you ever decide you want to PvP you only need to go to a rest area to change them.
