Does anyone know the updated spawn timer of Poseidus? I’m on a very low pop realm and I obsessively look for him every day so that I can obtain the reins (for myself - not to sell).
I’ve read conflicting information about his updated spawn time (I read somewhere 8 hours now), but it doesn’t seem possible because I am literally the only person in the zone all day, every day, and have not encountered him yet.

Posedius spawn window will not open until 72 hours have passed after a server reset. After the spawn window opens then it can appear at anytime from the opening until the next restart/shut down and a new timer starts.
The no spawn window drove me nuts when servers were dropping every other day.
So you can only get him Friday-Monday? I might be misunderstanding what you mean by server resets.
Under normal circumstances correct. If however they shut down the servers between resets it can and usually does reset the window. So if they shutdown the server for emergency maintenance on Wednesday or Thursday the window that Posedius can appear will be pushed back.
Thank you very much for the updated info - I read in a couple of places that the spawn timer had been updated to like 8 hours (I was a prolific Poseidus hunter in retail, so I did know about the 72 hours spawn time), but I was just trying to confirm if that new information that I read was correct.

Log alts on to every spawn location for reset. BE fast about log on and off “log off now option”.
Shouldn’t be too much competition on a low pop or dead server. One can usually get the lay of the land on if anyone else is in the zone looking for him by just logging onto each faction and doing a /who.
Very few if anyone goes to Vash’jir to level.
No, but many go there for the “easy” gold of alt logging for the mount.
