Quite simple… It’s called player choice.
They were literally offering free transfers in the first couple of days of TBC. Wonder how many people took them?
Sick and tired of forum mouthbreathers claiming people chose Horde because of racials. 95% of people play Horde because they look cool. Anyone who believes otherwise has way too many layers of tin foil on.
Mercenary Mode/ same faction bg battles fixes the problem, I love when people say same faction BG ques will ruin the TBC experience, but we’ve already added, toys, boosts, mounts, and items that did not exist in classic (chrono). I think not being able to pvp at all ruins the experience even more.
It fixes 1 problem. And causes another.
Their help consists of asking players that are on the most popular servers to move freely to servers that are “medium” in a best case scenario.
Its like giving a homeless person uncooked noodles and thinking I really helped, nvm that he has no place to cook em.
What problem is that?

Blizzard do nothing!
More people roll horde - alliance population drops, server imbalance continues.
Again that wouldn’t matter if both factions were considered for the same bg, everyone’s que times would be the same regardless of faction imbalance
peopulation does not affect Bgs
even if there are 100 horde and 100 alliance
80 horde will get on the Q while 20 alliance will get on the Q
alliance just less interested on pvp and and Qs less
even if there is an overall population of 70% alliance across all servers horde will still have Qs and alliance still be instant
Again even if that were the actual case which it is not the population right now is a confirmed problem not a debate, doing same faction bg consideration would fix the alliance not queing as much
For instance, if Alliance had 40 ppl in que and horde had 60 one game would be horde vs horde (in wsg)
Players like to be on a overpopulated faction dominated server.
and then effectively kill any reason to play alliance
hence why retail is like 80% horde
you can just ignore it just like every single poster of same faction bg
you dont want balance you just want the whole cake and then eat it
I did not enjoy Mankrik as horde. So I left with the free transfer option. Not everyone likes mega servers.
We’re at 80% horde now, which makes end game pvp essentially pointless and for players who focus competitive. It makes that experience from TBC almost unplayable. This doesn’t make playing alliance pointless, just makes horde have the same opportunities at que times.
along all of the advantages of racials and server dominance
y’all keep conveniently forgetting that
Look at some of the ally comments on these forums. Can u imagine what the LFG looks like.
Not shocked about for lid jumping ship from ally to horde.
Again this is relating specifically to pvp ques. Racials are the least of my worries, you keep relating back to horde dominance but that is already a problem, in fact that is the problem. I wouldn’t mind fighting other horde in bgs at all if it meant I can actually get ques fast enough to at least gear for arenas before the season ends.
