My wife’s boyfriend briefly rolled on DD and found it to be the same as Grobbulus only with significantly less people running around and very quiet chat channels.
Actually, the DD Horde side population has increased from 13624 to 20132 over the past couple of weeks, improving both our overall population and our population balance. Alliance side population has also increased, but by less. This is based on wowpop numbers, which are the most accurate and up to date available.
Not surprised that such a person would find DD less satisfying than Grob.
Relative to Grob chat channels, some might find this an advantage.
Lol actually did this. Painful to reroll again but better at lvl 43 than 60. Truly felt empty over there.

If DD was so good, they wouldn’t be posting on grobbulus.
Their posts are more to assuage their confirmation bias than anything else really.

You people know that you can play on both realms right? Since you can only have one faction per pvp realm.
Personally I look at Grob as ED 2.0 (which has been advertised as much), while DD is the fusion of the other rppvp realms. They can coexist.
Or to put it another way, the fraction of the Horde population that is already 60 on DD is only about one fifth of that on Grob. All the more reason for Horde to go to DD, where they’ll have a better chance of being one of the server’s movers and shakers!
