Can we also add layering? This change was done far too late and may pause the issue but will definitely not alleviate it.
Please stop listening to the people saying to not implement layers - the real issue is making the game accessible they need to be implemented now for the short term so that we can enjoy the game.

How many layers of bureaucracy has Blizzard got to work through to implement the blindingly obvious required temporary measure to fix the queue: layering and/or increase server capacity.
For a lot of guilds on Arugal scheduling a 40-man raid between 3PM and 10PM svt is pretty much impossible right now.

Sorry its a big yikes from me.
Games built off of the modern client (7.0 infrastructure I believe). Which supports both layering and load balancing. They didnāt ābring backā the original. They built it off of the current client and infrastructure (which makes total sense)

I had my characters on Alliance on Arugal however I decided to delete them to go back to my original faction Horde and play with my friends.
However when I try to restore my horde characters it prompts āOnly players who already have characters on this realm are currently allowed charactersā.
Does this now mean I am locked out from playing on Arugal all together now?
that sounds like you wont be able to play arugal. Iād defs open a ticket and if your lucky it will get sorted in about 3 days.

Probably because Blizzard knows that not as many folks want to take the time to build up server communities and economy.
Thatās my guess.
Please add Herod to the Locked list. With the data available to the community, itās one of the largest servers and is already facing at least 2:1 advantage for the horde. Queues are reaching 3500. Full realm is full.

You need to lock down so horde canāt transfer to horde dominated realm and vice versa.
Put on some coffee, log some OT. Fix the transfer system.
Will pay divedends over the next few expansionsā¦
Can we please get some help on arcanite reaper? either collapse our server or open up every high pop server to free xfer to it. We have 2 guilds that raid on horde. 2. It is not possible to find pugs, they donāt exist.
