WoW will not help you with issues of upgrades on the expantion, I have spent money for them and never got them, when I asked Support to help me find the updates, they do nothing
Upgrades and updates mean what in this context?
I have been with WoW for 10 years and never have I had so much issues with support, I purchased 2 expainsion one basic and one epic and asked (ASKED NOW) how to upgrade the basic to epic and they Refund my purchase ; then charged me almost twice as much for the epic when I was told to repurchase the epic and after I showed them my Bank and purchase history ON THE WOW WEBSITE… I got no response but the price difference between games… ( Which I already knew)… BUT MOST OF ALL I can’t find how to add the expansions becuase they won’t TELL ME … SO I PURCHASED 3 UPGRADES AND CAN’T INSTALL NOT ONE OF THEM…
I see Squally in your pet inventory. You get Squally by having the epic version of the The War Within.
You might want to follow up with cs, not technical. But it sounds like your initial ticket was using the self service refund system and a refund was granted?
It sounds like your familiar with level upgrades, and someone noted you have the pet? Maybe there were some failed pirchases also?
As far as installing, the game client is the same no matter the level of account you have, you do not need to reinstall if your client is up to date.
This is definitely a topic for Customer Support since the confusion is about purchases, pricing, and account status — not a technical issue.
