Yeah, prob 20ish days. Not bad. Just do Soul Forges - it takes like 15 mins and is super easy due to level scaling. It’s a great way to passively do an alt that you don’t actively want to play.

I find it amusing that the haters have come to hate.
Do you like it if people have nice things? Do you get upset when someone else can have dessert with their lunch? 
It’s simple. An xp buff hurts nothing - boosts weren’t going to be sold to these players anyway, no one is missing out from getting to max level faster, and if anything - this would only be a boon to subs as it could retain some people that have strayed a bit from the game. The slog through Shadowlands sucks for some. This brought me back for a bit.
I saw a few posts in here and the reddit forum about having quite active guilds during this event. And now… I expect we’re back to ghost towns. We’ll see. Either way I’m out of retail.
They should change course on this xp buff though.

Right? Like I just don’t get it, I’m sure Blizzard can clearly see an uptick of MAUs during the XP buff, and they clearly care a lot about player retention/MAUs, so it makes literally no sense to not continue this XP buff.
I don’t even know what metrics they even care about at this point, they’re all over the place with their reasoning for making decisions like this, it doesn’t make any sense.

Yeah, they messed up here. S4 had nothing for the solo player, the serial leveler. They had ‘content’ for these folks staring them in the face and they turned it off. /smh

Yeah that’s definitely a change of pace. I normally just do 1 dungeon and than cycle to the next alt, takes a few days to get through all my toons, so they never run out of rested. But it has also taken most of the expansion to level them slowly. For the classes that can Tank or Heal, it’s pretty quick, but for the PURE DPS classes, the wait can suck depending on time of day (10-30 minutes).

Yeah, definitely don’t bother with a daily dungeon. The queue times are too long and the XP is about the same as the Torghast daily, which is instant queue.
I also hate Torghast, but let me tell you, it was quite an enjoyable way to finish the alts off. I started actually looking forward to it.
I parted my toon AT the Torgy quest giver and that’s where they lived until they dinged 60. Definitely recommend.

It’s the thing that’s keeping them playing right now, since they’ve done all they wanted to do for this expansion. People were using this time to level allied races and such.

I parked my Mage and Priest there and logged in each day to do a quick run with friend until we hit 60. The exp gain is really good, and when TW is up you can sit in one place spamming runs with geared players looking to finish their quest.
I really hope Blizzard changes their position on this buff. It would be nice to have until DF release. I have a bunch of Alliance characters I still need to work on.

It’d be nice, but they’d rather keep it active on WoW TBC Classic (for the 10 people who play that game) where it makes almost no difference to the leveling speed at all! Rofl
It’s weird that they keep it active for them but not us. The only reason I can think of us they want us playing S4 content instead of spending time leveling alts.

You mean the same recycled content from S1, S2, S3, BFA, Legion, and WoD? I’d rather level alts at this point, though I do want the KSM mount.

Who knows? This is a reasonable explanation in my opinion. It’s too bad Blizzard can’t see that more people will play and stay when more people are active so giving people more of what they want will ultimately serve their goals… but if we’re just looking at monthly metrics it’s easy to miss it.

We are voicing our feedback based on their decisions, it’s okay if you don’t like it, That’s what the forum is for, to offer feedback, make suggestions and offer solutions.
The forum is not an echo chamber, not everyone has to agree with your sentiments. That doesn’t make their opinions less valid than yours, so stop acting like your opinion is the only one that matters because it honestly doesn’t.

I thought the initial post you made was good b/c it wasn’t just a “hey give it back”, it was “we like this thing, do you at least have plans to bring it back”
We need more of that type of feedback in general, especially in regards to dragon riding in the whole game

Ugh, whatta joke of a company, this team proves my point that they are disconnected from reality. Hope their participation numbers are abysmal for season 4. They deserve it.
