Hello,
I’m writing this here, because I wasn’t sure where else to send this, and I didn’t want to bother any team members that didn’t work in the department that would normally deal with this sort of thing. However, I was just wanting to know if I was the only one annoyed by the constant political spamming in trade chat. I’m tired of seeing all of the things that break down the integrity of the game, that have limited me from seeing things being sold in trade, or group’s that I may want to join. The only thing that I can think of doing is reporting/muting people, but that is a tall task, when there are multitudes of people doing it.
I know this isn’t exactly a report kind of thing, and other players can see this chat, but I just honestly wanted to vent about how frustrating it is.

You can leave trade chat.
Agreed, they just argue like children. Wish someone would make an anit-political addon where you can block out key words
There is an addon called Badboy that can filter trade. Download the plugin called CC cleaner with it to add your own blacklisted keywords

Can’t imagine why you’d want to leave Trade Chat. You’d miss out on all the anal (/random link) posts. Besides, these are important conversations with the intent of solving the worlds problems.
Lately what I’ve been doing is ignoring people who want to “stir” things up with Politics. You ignore enough of them and it works! 
Vouch for the Badboy addon.
You can customize your own filters to remove anything you want from trade chat. I use it to block all the M+ seller spam and now my chat box is so clean and beautiful.
