I remember the start of BFA near all herbs were at absolute cheapest 50g, same story with zinanthid, it was over 100g at all times requiring 8 for near all potions, theoretically if we times that by 2.5 (that’s my guess of where they will be now that boxing is gone as well as Silas proc), so my guess is around 2k per pot at least. Yes please I would love to throw away 100k just for combat pots, hp pots and food each raid night. Thanks blizz for making the next worst decision to slowing down the auction house for more than 40 posts :))))))))
Exploit vs against the ToS are completely different things. An exploit is an actual bug/design flaw in WoW that is being abused. Against the ToS merely means behavior blizzard doesn’t like.
Now Think about all the loosers that have been hating on Multiboxer be like.
“Why does the Gold price to buy gold go up so high”
“Why is my account hacked, all my gear and gold is gone”
Mulitiboxers pressed the price for gold low now all you loosers who buy gold both from Blizz and 3rd party websites will have more expensive gold per currency xD
I read the longer Blizzard post on wowhead. It says Blizzard “has seen an increasing negative impact to the game as this software is used to support botting and automated gameplay”.
So it wasn’t just the constant player arguments that convinced Blizzard. They also saw it affecting the game.
If multiboxing has such a major impact on people’s gameplay, I can’t wait to see how everyone reacts to the output of profession cooldowns being significantly reduced. I just unsubbed 4 accounts that were doing mooncloth, and cured rugged hides. Guess who isn’t leveling professions…bots. Also I farm dark runes with my box, good luck on getting those off the auction house after.
Bot software has literally nothing to do with key dispatching. That software, because I’ve seen it in action in games like Cabal (it was called Cabal rider), and Diablo 3, literally is automation. It has nothing to do with key dispatching. Even if the software has that, it means Blizzard has the capability to detect it.
So it should be simple enough to detect a bot, like you know they’re running injected DLLs right? You understand how they read, and manipulate the game? There is much more complexity to automation software, than key dispatching. It should be very apparent here, that:
Blizzard still has no solid method for detecting automation
This is a blanket fix to try and make it difficult for bots to run
How are even able to pay for a sub in Argentina using a US credit card though? Wouldn’t the “payment method” page on Blizzard’s website require a debit/credit card FROM Argentina?
Banning Multiboxing is going to crash the market in classic. Better get your mats now before prices rocket up. I’m going to assume Blizzard is profiting off gold sellers more than multiboxing. And Multiboxers were cutting into the yields from bots. No need to buy from bots if you could get everything you need with your 2 or 5 box. So now you’ll have several multiboxer cancel their extra subs if not out right quit. More people buying gold, and other going to the dark side to bot. WoW’s invisible pay wall…smh.
I think Multiboxing ruins mmos. it’s a drag on the lore . But the game allowed it for 15 years, and it’s an old game, playing a few characters was just another way to play the game.
Hopefully we see a hammer on the bots. People multiboxing weren’t breaking the rules, at least up until now. Bots have been breaking the rules and the game for years.
the only reason the average player didn’t compete with selling mats and consumables is because it’s pointless to compete with a degenerate that has +40 accounts dominating the market
now people will start leveling professions and start making gold because it’s worth their time and no degeneracy is stopping them from doing it
yes the market might increase in prices at the beginning because of the panic but the prices will normalize once more people get in the market and start competing
you multi boxers weren’t doing us any favor, now SCREW OFF
played the hell out of wow. rinse, repeat, ect ect… multiboxing was just fun. playing one char is easy, i’ve done with all the classes. I might stick it out for naxx or if they go to wrath i might come back. but i’ll be raid logging, which gets boring too.
if i wanted to pay to win I’d just lay with the bots and buy gold like half the WoW population. Not my fault multiboxing was too complicated for you.
