I’ve been holding off replying here… but I’ve been following along for quite awhile.
I’m grumpy about this change. I firmly believe this is a giant hammer that Blizzard is flailing about in an attempt to curb what they think is the multiboxing “problem”. The boomkin farm that sits on their chicken butts and spams moonfire might be impeded a little bit by this. The reason I think this is the case is ISBoxer is almost braindead simple to setup, there are a number of guides out there for how to use it, and it’s super super close to automation with the level of integration it has for managing your boxes. I wish they would have just banned ISBoxer and called it a day.
I’ve only ever used hotkey for my multiboxing escapades. You would have never seen me either. I had a group rolling islands and it was a blast. I’ve since refunded one of my accounts because this change impacts me. A lowly 3 boxer with the jankiest of setups. Once I got it cooking it worked well for what I wanted to do but it paled in comparison to the boomkin farmers.
So good job on Blizz. You swung the giant club and took out some legit folks in your blind rage. If I were to multibox again I’d opt for a hardware setup to do it… or I’d just get some usb num keypads and bring some laptops (or VMs) and macros together to make it work. That’s essentially all hotkey was doing for me anyway 
TL;DR - This change will only impact the easy mode multiboxing. It will not affect the pro bot setups that are farming your Stormsong Valley. GG Blizz.

The thing is, this is simple to work around by simply using virtual desktops or simular sollutions. Each desktop works as a computer by it’s own and you can use any software you want to send keystrokes to the virtual desktops and the warden cant do anything about it because the keystroke program isn’t running in the virtual desktop.
And botting and multiboxing isn’t the same thing. Multiboxing = a player who controls several alts at the same time, sending out keystrokes to several clients.
Botting= using preprogrammed scripts that simulates alts movements, skill usage without anyone actually pressing a button. The problem is that it’s the last one who is the biggest problem, yet Blizz punish the first ones…

Chromie time, multi tap nodes, hyperspawning 2x4, and multi tapping mobs. Lots of things are to blame that could be easily fixed with some coding. Or they could just be reverted to the way they used to be.

Well this is super disappointing. So many players had fun doing challenging content with a box team, it was a unique and fun way to play the game. I just feel down that it’s over. Fortunately it still works in a lot of other games.

But the keyboard software will broadcast and lets say im playing in 2 accounts at the same time if i push 1 button and 1 action is made in each account, thats still a violation?? Or the new policy is just for mirrored actions?
