I am by no means saying that multiboxing hasn’t become increasingly accessible and the average user can get into easily. Most of those people are not the problem though. It’s the gold sellers and botters that have smashed the market and block out farming areas from everyone else.
I am saying that the only people who are going to be affected by this are the people who did it casually or to pay for there subs. This will do almost nothing to the botting communities or the gold selling communities.

And those who still like the idea of multiboxing will instead of buying a 20 dollar license for innerspace or autohotkey, Will spend 20 dollars getting a chinese KVM replicator and be done with it.
End result is literally the same thing.
When something is abuseable, it gets abused. And if said abuse continues with the same result, its likely to get targeted.
And the population of Balance Druids just took a nosedive.

Where you guys at?! Miss ya! <3
I’m seriously almost in disbelief. This is such amazing news. This will make farming herbs… once again, a way for players to make gold.

One I’m looking at is $350 but I don’t like buying junk, I like nice quality hardware
You can also disable windows focus so windows mirrors your command to everything
Linux can do it aswell and people do play wow on linux, Infact due to how linux works and how malleable it is i wouldn’t be surprised if many botters use linux as a base.
isnt this almost contradictive? botters abuse this program to multibox and affect the economy. the entire profession market is ran by people who do this. this program created a unfair advantage not only because of botters abusing the program but also because of the druids that afk in nazjatar spamming herbs/druids afking in one spot. this program is unhealthy for the game period and its removal is nothing but positive for the game. and you can bet if multiboxing botters abuse the system in a new way, it will also get banned.
Was already planning on going to Linux with my new PC I’ve heard good things about gaming support these days so if I can make the switch I will. Gaming was the only thing stopping me.
Profession market on MG is run by my friend and they don’t even multibox, They just manipulate the market by dumping or removing assetts, They got their starter gold by selling +15 carries with me.
that market is prob not run by a multi boxer… but goood try
No but those markets are run by a WHOLE heap of spreadsheets.
Ban spreadsheets their an unfair advantage!

yes multiboxers constantly flying around nazjatar have nothing to do with flasks/herbs being dirt cheap.
Prices for things constantly get lower during the expansion as supply increases and demand lowers, After the first few months of a new tier a lot of people stop raiding so demand decreases and more people have max level alts for farming so supply increases.
Things will get cheaper anyway you can’t just blame the multiboxxers for that.
Farming isn’t the only way to make gold either and it’s actually the LEAST efficient way to make gold.
I am not surprised by their decision but I hope they are ready to see a all those “botting” accounts cancelling their subscription. Guess I will have to go back to farming my own herbs again in SL, which will be slightly annoying…
Osmenite and Zin’Anthid have been crazy expensive on all the servers I’ve played on even with multi boxers doing the game a service. Honestly - I wonder just how much stuff is going to be available without the few people willing to put in the work.
THANK YOU Blizzard! Mutliboxers have been a HUGE problem for those of us gathering herbs and for those of us who play alot of BGs for a very long time. I personally always saw Multiboxing In battle grounds as cheating. It good to know thats one less thing to worry about

You can’t use half the multiboxxer tools in a battleground due to in-game functions being disabled.
PS: multiboxing isn’t banned.
