Multiboxing is mostly dead, playing 1 toon and dragging along 1 or more others is back. Not the same thing.
So everyone is aware. This only slows down multibox gathering by a few seconds. You can still set /follow and shrink windows down to multi click in each session of wow to gather the herb/mine the ore. Especially if its a druid herbing. I have multiboxed in the past and I can see this potentially not helping the economy any bit. In order to achieve what they truly want they need to just straight up ban multiboxing all together, no grey areas. This only assists in world questing, questing, dungeons, and world pvp. but gathering is only slightly effected. Im not condoning or saying its bad either, but looking in from the outsideâŚI dont see how this fixes the issue. I can still literally 8 box herbing as a druid⌠I dont have to mirror SPACE for flight I just carefully lift up on the main druid and the rest eventually follow. land near herb and right click on each tabbed version of wow. Boom. Im still getting 8x the amount of herbs.

Exactly. 
Theyâre scanning for multiboxing software and punishing those with it, when their problem is with botters. So my question was why are they punishing multiboxing software users rather than automation software users.

Botters hit one button and it excecutes a series of commands and acts on variables. (mob hits 20%, use execute. that kind of stuff.)
Boxers are playing piano using lots of macros.
Shall we ban macros too?

Of course. Thatâs why I said semi-simultaneously. You have to turn your individual characters, right click a portal, swap, right click a portal, etc. There are points where everyone gets dropped in the same spot, you reset your view, and move to the next drake or talk to enshu falanar darini guy. It definitely saves A LOT of time.

I hope you dont ban isboxer. Blizz as it is i subscribe for 3 month increments at 45 bux a piece for 5 accounts. Thats a decent loss of cash for you. but whatever. I guess you like sub losses
read 1.C. Further; itâs laughable that blizzard thinks it getâs to âauthorizeâ what software runs on the my client. Again, i get cheating and support the idea they need to ensure game files have high integrity, that processes are not injecting/monitoring the related game memory. That is their domain and I support them looking for botting. Anything else running on my client outside of that domain is a privacy concern.
